the awkwardness does give all of them a little more of a human taste and relatability, and as a teen it was so refreshing to see people act like me and my friends. being weird, not knowing much about personal space or how to guide a conversation, but just trying until we got it

For me the reason heart stopper is “cringe” is bc of how lovey dovey they are (and this might jus be bc physical touch isn’t rlly my love language) but it was kinda hard to watch all the kissing and flirting scenes and the dialogue or script felt rlly formal in the way they talked but idk could just be me
