Jaime Jaquez Jr., the No. 18 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft out of UCLA, led all scorers with 22 points for the Heat, while Nikola Jovic added 21 points and 8 rebounds in the victory. Jalen Hood-Schifino, the No. 17 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft out of Indiana, tallied 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists for the Lakers.
