Dennis' "we are made in the image of God and animal" quote was as laughable as it was bizarre. Nowhere in the Old Testament (which Prager ascribes to as a Jew) does it say that. That said, Matts anti masturbation arguments fall flat too. Something being made fun of doesnt prove its morally wrong. And its a big stretch to go from "you wont die if you dont masturbate" to "you must resist the urge to masturbate all the time, in every circumstance, or else."

i think porn and masturbation a harmful but repression is even more destructive. Certainly we should strive for self mastery but repression is not the way.

@@draregniknot6542 The argument isn’t about if you masturbate; it’s about what accompanies it for it to work. This would be lustful, immoral thoughts. Now, the word "masturbate" wasn’t created when the Bible was written. But what is written is to keep one’s mind clean and pure. This isn’t possible when you masturbate.
