Then this team will grow into a championship team with integrity, grit and love for each other. Curious, Have you followed Coach Theresa Weatherspoon’s career?
Sides lol ya she blames her players for everything 😂 it’s sad. Clark has it worse trust me every one attacking Clark atleast this coach doesn’t talk poorly about her players and share private conversations
She insulted all of us by walking out on the media conference. If she doesn't want to throw her players under the bus, why not just way so? She would be more respected by all.
@@Terry_1111 she did not insult me and she is well respected. She keeps it real and sometimes the questions asked are just irrelevant and maybe just give her a chance to state her comments before throwing all these questions that we all already know the answer to.
@Terry_1111 I didn't feel insulted, I feel like similar questions have been asked and answered and she's showing up and repeating answers to duplicated questions. She will make changes as necessary, and she absolutely isn't going to answer a ridiculous question about waiving people.
@@anitajoseph9955 Dealing with the media IS part of her job. She could easily have said I've already answered that question. To walk out shows her disrespect towards the media, too.
OK, I've read all the comments. About half are bad mouthing T-spoon and half defending. Here's my take. I've seen hundreds of these "interviews", and they always ask the same silly questions. Like, "what did you do that got you the win?" Answer, "we scored more points". "How does it feel to lose your third game in a row?" Answer, "Oh, you know, tomorrow's another day!" Really, they ought to just quit this inane bullshit anyway. I don't blame her or anyone else for being a little terse at these things, they're stupid.
Same! These questions would drive me crazy. They need to come up with something new to ask. This is supposed to be for fans to watch anyways and none of us want to hear these bs questions 😂
Understandable, given her lack of communication skills, why the sky are a losing franchise. Good coaches face the music and handle the job, poor coaches let the emotions get the better of their judgement.
If you watch her entire career and this season post games and interviews; you would actually see that she is one of the most well spoken and supportive coaches in the game. Coaches get heated and frustrated too, even the best of all time did. Do your research before condemning, the game players and coaches.

@@LaJuneGotOils that's not true, she has been superficial with her responses and displayed attitude in post game interviews all season, whether they win or lose.
No they have guard problem ... your starting SG scores only 5 points vs the worst D. Marina Mabrey stats are misleading she scored 10 vs the Suns but it came too late the Suns were up but double digits and she missed wide open shots. Half the time the PG who suppose to be running the play is standing there doing nothing. AR and KC can't get a rest ... you see AR calling the plays because the PG are can't seem to do it.
@@CoryolaBeaux-bo8kt No ... Coach WSpoon got this ... its the same system ... Mulkey and WSpoon are HOFers and Olympic Champions ... nahh Coach got this
Well especially after a loss...the Coach knows they needed this game...she was very upset...but honestly folks are right...she needs to make changes and at least first TRY starting Chennedy
@@LaJuneGotOils the “new fans” probably aren’t complete dumbasses and know the rules of professional sports so I don’t think looking it up is going to change anything.
The problem isn’t that she’s pissed …the problem is that she’s taking it out on the reporters that are there to promote the game so everyone can make more money… they want to complain about the pay well this is how you get paid
She is passionate. No she is frustrated. Bc, those wins were attainable. A little something is off. But, that’s a good solid team. They will fill in the gaps Coach. They still have plenty games to win.
She answered the question and the dummy turn around and asks the same question just adding in what plans do she have for the next two games. Why she tell her plans. Ask stupid questions get stupid answers.
The only reason the Sky got close at the end was because the refs put the Sky on the line almost every single possession at the end. It was sad to watch.
@@carladavis1473 Yeah they seem to forget they get mad about the smallest things like answering a question lol. The WNBA needs a attitude adjustment honestly.
@@jnkrene5600 nah we just have never seen this side of it until now..its fascinating how many WNBA players are just angry , popping the cork t any second
I like coach T- spoon and she definitely is not going to allow the media to trap her into saying something that will be used against her. I think she is exactly what those ladies need and they will get it together. I can see them as future champs and their time is coming.
Thank you Coach. They ask the same question in different ways. You said you aren't playing head games. They do not understand Sports. It's just entertainment for them.
@@lilikaramirez1848 No. If souls cares enough to study the award system they would see it. There were a Set of twin sisters who shared an award Clark has won 2 years in a row.
@@gregorydavis1995lol this team isn't built to win. No pure point guard. No real scoring threat. Yes Chennedy and Mabrey can score but not consistently. Izzy is coming back from missing an entire year. Evans isn't a point guard. allen is too small. Diamond isn't like that anymore. Bri Turner I feel has lost confidence.
I read the comments and understand everyones views. It's fresh of a tough loss. Emotions are high, and keep in mind that Coach T Spoon is growing as well as the players. This is a marathon, not a sprint. The spotlight is brighter, so mistakes are magnified. I don't condone her leaving the media press conference, but I do understand her frustration. Alot of defensive miscues and indecisiveness (3 sec violation) from the Sky. Chemistry takes time. They will watch film 🎥 and get better.
Lol it has less to do with the loss I think and more to do with the same lady asking the same questions just framing it differently. The same with that guy. I like her intensity.
Giving an interview after a loss is always tough. However, the team takes on the personality of the coach. Her walking out shows a lack of composure and that trait is very apparent w the Sky.
I get her being fiery and emotional but these ladies they need to reel it in with the attitude to reporters. Too many examples of it, kahleah cooper being the most egregious one. The ladies of the WNBA don’t have enough cache to be doing this 😂
@@breezybreeze12 yeah..they have been doing this for years but nobody was paying attention. Now they are and the league needs to get these teams interview training

Too much emotion, lack of professionalism. We continue to see evidence why we the majority of the sport fans reject this product, too much attitude and toxicity, at all levels.
You are a 🤡.... not even sure what you are referring to. This team is one of the most followed teams in the W because of there style of play and learning to be aggressive on both sides of the ball 🏀. The honesty and positivity during media sessions are like no other team.
She needed a five minute meditation break. The media can ask triggering questions. When Anthony Davis slammed the mic down and walked out of a press conference. it was hilarious.
I decided weeks ago that I was not going to watch a team with a player like Chennedy Carter! But I can now understand why her players are the way they are. I wonder what her temper is like in the locker room?
The reporters are not skilled at asking questions. They have a very lazy style of questioning. Most of the time they ask really obviously dumb questions as if they don't know the game of basketball.
The white man coach kicks chairs during the game at the end. Should have gotten a technical foul called. People love to judge black people extra hard. Think he kicked the announcer table also. After his last player fouled out. They give T Spoon a technical for breathing wrong.
@@dusttakerthese refs be too emotional… still going on today remember the little wave Angel gave the ref and got a tech, str8 foolishness… (they took it away the next day but it still looks bad on officiating) smh
They asked the same question 3 times. It is the coaches decision in who to play. Not a reporter that may have never played a game in their life. Ask the question and move on.
They shouldn't have to explain themselves after a loss. They're already upset and then they're expected to show up and do a press conference. Were is the compassion? These reporters are asking the same question after every game in different ways its tiring for anyone. If I was her I probably would've done the same thing and walkout. All these reporters are doing is trying to get something to paint a narrative and to paint her in a bad light.
@@sweetreny1155 it's a legitimate question they are asking that needs to be answered. The starting lineup that is put out there keeps getting off to very slow starts, and when Chennedy Carter comes in the game the team plays there best basketball. So people are seeing and wondering why Chennedy Carter is not in the starting lineup?
She had a bad day and a bad game but all told I think that she is a professional and I have much admiration for her. I'm sure she will handle these situations better in the future. I remember Mike Tomlin of the Steelers walking out recently and I'm sure we can find countless others.
TSpoon is the best coach in the league right now. She is firm on her style and expectations for her players. That last question was answered at least 2x’s already. Media “personalities” need to learn to listen.
Well some people have resting bitch faces, so how tf do you want her to look exactly? Everyone isn’t going to smile all day long to appease soft people.
And yet other teams seem to accept that talking to the media is a part of the profession. If you want to be seen as professional, you have to act professional....not entitled.
Her inability to let the questions be finished is a strong clue as to why her team as a whole shows a lack of discipline consistently. Teresa thinks acting like she's going to blow up is a sign of strength. Low level thinking from a great legend.
12 games already played and you STILL need to find a rhythm? You are not going to get the same effort each game, that’s why you have to switch the lineup depending on who you are playing. Coach Dawn Staley had 9 - 10 players on her team who she would switch as starters every game or almost throughout the game to see what it would produce. The Sky needs to let the ego go and get their rookies the ball more or they will end up like the Mystics ironically the team that just beat them who was 1-12 prior to the game.
@@LadyG1371 That's because she has been prepped to answer that way and she is always asked similar questions. Her fans tend to love and believe the monotone statements and clearly you can see its all being said without emotions. She always says, this is my job. I am just doing my job.
If the WNBA is going to survive they are going to have to either STOP these after game interviews, give the speakers tutorials on how to to speak to the press, screen the reporters' questions, or give them time to COOL down after the game!. Remember there weren't a lot of people watching the games until recently so how many people are actually watching these after game interviews? The ONLY thing I see they have been good for is for everyone BUT the players to ATTACK the speakers and their words OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN! Which only makes the players and the coaches hate the media EVEN MORE! Is it worth letting these players who may NOT be comfortable, HATE reporters, or simply have NO social skills go out there and bring the "value" of the WNBA down by counting on these interviews to make people more money? Perfect example Angel Reese....she will NEVER live down the things she had said! As far as Caitlin goes....taking the high road can wear on a young person!! Why do you think this new rule allowing two players to not have to speak to the media is about?? Is speaking to the media after games really worth what it does to the players?? Hell....it may get to the point that they decide it is NOT worth playing well and making a LOT of points if they are going to have to face the media interns.....because you KNOW those reporters aren't very well seasoned either....I mean the questions are absolutely stupid..... OK ...I am done!
I can now understand why her players are the way they are. I wonder what her temper is like in the locker room! If she can’t handle the post game interviews how can she handle the stress of the game!
She is the worst coach of all time fr. She is horrible and she is not about winning games. She is about stat padding fr. Look at what she is doing and has done. Angel keeps throughing up crazy shots and she misses them and is still allowed to shoot. None would let that keep happening.
She walked off , but had she said something foul . Y’all would be making the same comments. Plenty of players around the world have left pressers bc the same redundant questions are asked. This is a first year coach. Re-effin-lax. Y’all gotta be a bunch of bored lonely men or cc fans smh.
Without Mabry on the squad they basically behind the 8 ball in every game. She was their best perimeter player. They have almost no shooting from the outside. I believe Atlanta will catch them and the fever are going to blow their doors off. Angel has to get an offensive game to give this team any kind of chance
sky team has already been fined for not giving post game press time this year .. they don't deserve exposure and fan support when they call themselves villains and continue to be ill mannered after fans purchase tickets and merchandise . wholesome Americans are few ...but can be found ...take a look at the Iowa women's basketball teams ...learn respect
You don't know what she's dealing with. She's probably gotten a lot of criticism from higher ups for some of the actions of her players. She's stressed in a way that say the coach of the minnesota lynx isnt.
says she isn't talking about the starting five because she is thinking about winning? and you had the flow going? she has the "superstar" Reese and the true great player Cardoso and you've let hatred take this team over. Reese, Carter, DeShields, that's not aggressive, that's dirty play and you are encouraging it. that shows who you are as a coach. (i'm surprised and disappointed in DeShields embracing this locker room message). Mabry didn't want to play for you anymore, Dana Evans wants out ..that's a team that's embraced hatred vs hard work, and the ones who want to work try to get out as they see you are a train wreck.
That’s right walk coach these reporters asking dumb questions and questioning her coaching skills as a coach. Just explain to to that games are games and she makes adjustments according to how the game is being played. Coach can have all sorts of game plans and plays to start off but once you get into the game things start to happening where you might have to adjust your game plans or not use them entirely. Them reporters are always so messy, looking for some type of angle, their questions are always lopsided and not positive. I would have walk out too. Great job coach Weatherspoon.
You can be mad at your team, but be respectful and polite to the media. No excuses for been rude to any press media. Learn to be pro Teresa...need a class or two on how to handle a loss and your responsabilities. No wonder other stuff you watch from the player's on that team.
@@TheAlexisRenae advantage? Crossing boundaries? It makes no sense, someone ask you a question, yo replay and you can be polite, but direct and say already answer...what's wrong with it? I saw the whole post game inteview and she should know better how to handle it with class...speaks volume of yourself! Been polite and quite is no sign of weakness...is a sign of inteligence!
@@alonsomendoza9130 Being polite and quiet when people are disrespecting you by asking you the same question over and over and trying to play mind games, would be disrespecting yourself and letting people walk all over you.
The players are taking after and acting like their coach!! I almost would bet the coach has told her players to take Clark out!!! You can see and tell by her actions, she is a street brawler!!!
I enjoy watching the toxic twins lose, Devil Reese and Coward Carter. Wish it would've been a blowout but I'll settle for them losing. I'm on the fence with T-Spoon. She needs to calm her emotions in these interviews or they all come up looking like the bad guys.
