I love how the fuel flows around the coolant! In other designs I’ve seen here, it’s the other way around. This is probably the better design of the two.
Clever, and simple!!!! And every bit of warmth for diesel fuel, can make a huge difference... I remember struggling in my wrecker while loading a SUV that slide off the banked highway, and I noticed my wreckers high idle for PTO / hydraulic control, the idle started to slow, and then stutter. Please note, I was 50 miles away from any help, and it was (-19 degrees F and -35 wind chill)... I drop all connections and ran to my truck cab, and rev'd the engine, and started back towards town, and would acquire the downed vehicle in less violent winter weather... If that truck stalled out due to the diesel gelling / freezing up on me, I likely would have been dead, or to say, froze to death out there... So, I will be harrowing this idea and adding this type of unit, made from aluminum or stainless steel, and wrap it with a heating blanket / pad as well... Scary situation!!! 30 seconds later, I wouldn't be writing this to compliment your idea... Well done, Sir... Thank you!
You better use fuel filter heater, made from silicone. It allows you to start the heating process, before starting the engine and so, you will have heated fuel at the ignition. And this is the most important for diesel.
Good evening! Mad Wheel, Can supply with vegetable and animal oils, used! And only micro Filter and put in a reserve tank! Logico that has to give ignition in the diesel and after approximately 10 mnutes change to the bio oil. Uses a timer solenoid! Execente work of lathe and weld. TOP!
