Hello, new subscriber here! It sounds like you have good healthcare where you are. A former co-worker of mine had heart transplant surgery - I think also paid for because some good insurance through a family member - and it went well for him.
There is nothing worse than a chronic illness. I’m have had asthma since I was born. While mine is mostly non life threatening it can still be scary. As you said we put on a good “face”. (Make-up great). I pray for you and I will put you on my church prayer list. I so understand where you are. We have three boys and I push to do things with them. And people were always saying how can you do this. You just do it. Hugs, love and best thoughts to you.

Sarah I pray that God put his healing hands on you to take away your pain. I remember staying in the hospital for only 4 days and never got any sleep. Your feelings are so valid. I can’t imagine having to process all that. You are so strong and kind hearted and will get through it. Rooting on from Texas. Also there’s a shirt called a chemo shirt (designed originally for cancer patients) but it allows easy access to central lines (fancy IVs) that are placed which might be helpful for you.
Sarah, I am so sorry you have to go through this. You are a strong woman and you will make it through this. Do not doubt that. I am praying for you every day and also praying for peace and strength for you and your family. It sounds like you have very good doctors who care about you. It is probably good that you are going into the hospital so they can get you prepared. Your subscribers love you and please know we support you 100%. I wish I was there and could help you somehow. Don’t worry about videos just do what you feel able to do. The community tab is a good idea. We will all rejoice with you when this is over and you are on the road to health again. Hi Sarah, It must be an extra challenge to have to keep changing your plans. I will certainly be thinking of you this week, especially on Tuesday. I hope the visiting policy allows you and Garret lots of time together during your stay. I am encouraged to hear that your heath will benefit from being in hospital and that your region offers this option. I guess your full-time job now is to get physically strong and pink cheeked. Like so many of us, I'm cheering you on and passing the tissues (metaphorically) when you need those.

Oh Sarah, you are such an inspiration. Honestly, you will not be beat. I wish I could say something to make any of this a bit easier for you, but this is just about as serious as it gets, and I total appreciate your apprehension for what the next few months hold for you. I really hope they at least let you pack a bag full of harlequins so you can get through some of those while you’re in hospital. You will continue to be in my thoughts & prayers. Not heart, but I have several friends & family members who have had transplants, double lung, kidney, & liver, and are all doing well. They have come a long way in the medical field. I fully believe God has you in the palm of His hand. 🙏🙏🙏♥️
