Excellent and clear. Doing the pickup tomorrow morning when I should have the drive down from Buckingham on mostly empty M40. New Year's morning is a good time to drive!! Family coming back from Oz holiday. I've been driving 56 years (I'm old!!) and our airports do have decent signage. Thanks for a clear vid.

I’ve watched this video 3 times now and hoped I’d remembered the instructions. As a 72 year old driving to Heathrow can be anxious making. It was perfect, I’ve just got back and followed these instructions it was more than helpful I was in the right Lane all the time parked on level one as you said. A perfect straight forward trip from Brighton for me. Thank you so much.

Great video! Very informative and saved me some stress time. Although worth to note there are some road works on the M4 at the moment and it gets congested leading up to the tunnel before terminal. Tips were to park were brilliant too. Thanks for the video!

Hello! Thank you for your video :) what’s the difference between the short stay and long stay? Also, if someone’s picking me up and they park in the long stay area could they still meet me at the terminal to help with my luggage? Saw your T2 long stay video but didn’t fully understand.

Forget the long stay, always use Short Stay car parki at T2. Using the short stay car park is far better option when collecting people.

People would only use long stay car park if they're leaving their vehicle there for some considerable time. Using long stay car park to collect passengers isn't ideal at all in my professional opinion.

Great Video , but one problem , it's so expensive to park here that you want to be here a minimum amount of time . This means finding a place to park which is away from the airport , but with easy access to it , so when you get that message that they've got their luggage and they are coming through you can get there quickly . Can you suggest anywhere ?

No quicker way unfortunately. However feel free to park yourself in the long stay car park and get a free bus or vice versa passenger get the bus to your long-term car park. It wouldn't be any quicker whatsoever, but that will be the only way you can do that for free! Thanks for watching 👍

Actually , I found the ideal place to wait . Which is West Drayton , it's just 10 minutes by car from T2. Having driven from Bath I need to be in the Heathrow area at least an hour before they land to allow for traffic problems etc , and West Drayton is the perfect place. Then the minute they what's app to say they've collected their luggage I'm in to T2 level one. Once again your video is brilliant, a real help

No need to pay on-Line at all. Take a ticket when you enter and pay on route when returning back to your with your passengers.

@@guirography9964 I would not go with that. In Heathrow itself is to compact to have post codes to all Car Parks, I think any sat nav trying to navigate inside T2/T3 wouldn't be easy, you are far better off just following the signposts or watch my videos for visuals.

Terminal 2 Short Stay fast track is more expensive because you're on a time limit. I wouldn't recommend using this because anything can happen with regards to waiting for people's baggage coming out or long queue at passport control checking area. Short stay car park is the best thing to use when collecting any passengers from any Terminal. There's really no point in pre booking so short stay car parking.

A very good informative, well presented video. Is the exit procedure as easy as the entry. I note that there are many van type vehicles within T2 short stay. Will I be able to park a VW Caddy for 2 weeks in T2 short stay. Thank you very much.

I would advise parking your 'VW' in Long Stay Car Park. It offers a FREE Bus service and it would work out cheaper by far! You could use 'Short Stay' Car Park but I would not advise this for that long period. When using T2 Long Stay, please allow plenty of extra time i e. 1hr to park your VW and get FREE Bus service back to the Terminal okay. Unfortunately I have not got a video up yet on 'How to get to T2 Long Stay' but this is on my list to do. Hope this was helpful...

What are the costs? Just looked it up seems to be £15.30 (Feb 2022) for up to 2 hours. This is no 'free' period'.

First 29Mins is £5.30p anything over 1hr is £11.40p

Thanks for a detailed video. I have not booked my parking and will be dropping my relative there. I will stay for 4-5 hours untill they leave. Pre booking now is costing me 80 gbp which is outrageous for 4 hours. Can I just drive there and pay for 4 hours. Also, what are the costs. I would appreciate your reply.

Nothing!...you go into Car Park at the time you set and pay on your exit. IF you have stayed over what you stipulated, then expect the Extra Charge ocodingly.
