Unfortunately I didn’t have a heat gun or hair dryer so i used an iron with some layers of paper towels to protect the vinyl from direct heat.
As seen in the video I just heated and stretched and heated and stretched until the wrinkles reduced significantly.
Tip: if your vinyl only stretches 2 ways (not 4 ways) cut the vinyl so its stretchy lengthwise, this will help prevent wrinkles because it allows stretch where its needed.
Its not shrink wrap so when you heat it the wrinkles don’t just disappear. The reason the wrinkles go away is from heating the vinyl enough that it will stretch and hold that new shape, and this pulls in the excess vinyl causing the wrinkles.
Its better to heat and stretch as you staple it but I already had it on so I just stretched it afterwards. Not perfect but it’s acceptable.
