@heatstore290 the one I'm using has a different display. It has a something with a clock, a hand, a snowflake and a calendar. I don't know what these things mean
Hi thanks for the videos. Can you tell me how to switch off the element temporarily, is there a way of closing the top vent for a few hours if I don't want the element's heat from the economy 7. Please advise as I can't work out how to stop the unit radiating heat once it has been on over night with the economy 7 switch turned on
So do you pay again to run the heater (Comfort Mode) during the day, or is all the heat simply generated during the heat first then a cold fan blows it or during the day? What does the status codes mean, and does it state how much kWh is used each day in the status mode??
If there is a front plate to keep heat in (and i live in an old stone house) this NSH is pretty much useless. I found that the fan blew whether there was heat or not, thus blowing cold air at my expense during my standard daily charge rate. Completely missing the point of a night store heater for a house with Economy 7. Might as well get an electric fan heater in my hall
I have no idea how to switch the damn thing on. I mess with it and it comes on...eventually. My one has no vector at the base, but the display is the same. It seems to just be random. I select manual, but nothing happens. Jeez, can there not somply be an on/off switch?
I have 9 of these in my house, is there anyway to link these to all run on the same timers rather than have to set them all individually, they're a nightmare, on a dual tariff, and still using 11 pounds a day electricity. These were installed in 2001 though. 😬
£10 a day to run 9 of these heaters? That's cheap! Costs me about £7 a day (or overnight as that's when they charge up) to run just 2 of them! And that's just to charge the heaters, that's not my total electric use a day. They are very expensive to run. And not very efficient at all.
Hi Gc N, to disable this simply turn your heater to OFF i.e. do not have your heater set to the timer mode. If you would kindly contact us on 0117 923 5375 and ask to speak to our Customer Services Manager we will be able to help you. Kindest regards, Heatstore.

Yep my heaters are barely even warm at even the top heat! I have them set though to 21 and hardly any heat is coming out, and by 4pm latest they just blow out cool air, like the heats run out already (what little heat they had stored if you can even call it heat). I've had them a couple of years and I do not rate these at all. I've factory reset them and reset them up but the same thing occurs.
@@mookieblay6331 same, I get cool air too. I'm just fed up with storage heaters. I wish they had just answered the question above so that we all know what to do, I'm sure it's a common problem 😒
Had mine fitted yesterday. I love it. Extremely easy to use. I set the timers to come on for an hour when I get up on early shift. I just discovered it has Bluetooth too. So fancy ha ha.
