@heatstore290 please can you help, my HDS125 Isn't storing/charging at night. I have set the timers to come on and go off but still no heat. Please can you help me.
@@nancytomos9743 Hi Nancy, thank you kindly for your comment. Can we please check, have you programmed your heater to be on at 10.00pm at night and also in the morning's? If you have not asked the heater to deliver heat at your required times it wont. Please set the timer to the times you would like to heat your room, that should resolve the issue for you. However, please feel free to call our support team on 0117 923 5375, they would be delighted to help and talk you through the operation in more detail. Kindest regards, Heatstore
Hi Mariusz, ECO mode is the best setting for energy saving, however you can also create an individual timer mode to suit your specific requirements that you can change to your lifestyle. If you need any further help on this we would be delighted to help, simply contact us on 0117 923 5375 and ask to speak to one of our Senior Technical Advisors. Kindest regards, Heatstore.
Very ineffective being on all night set it to boost not getting warm my room is freezing . I have set different times for it to come on even at that nothing.
It’s not on all night. It stores the heat during the night whilst the electricity cost is off peak and low.. Then it dissipates the heat throughout the entire day whilst not using any electricity. The Thermostat keeps the temperature of the room at a precise level. Using the boost like that will eat electricity like crazy. I hope you now understand how a storage heater works as it’s been several months since your comment. Peace ✌️
As far as I understand, it automatically charges up on the cheaper, Economy 7 night electricity rate / input. Whatever "Timer" mode you set, the night's storage in the bricks is released during the day. Unless you've already used that up, in which case it draws from the day-time, peak rate.
Hi. I think I have found the answer. If press and hold enter for 5 seconds, it goes to user information settings. In there, there's an option for extra charge. This is to charge during economy 7. It has a choice of hours up to 7 hours.
Hi Maggie, this is really easy to do, you just have to select a new mode. I.e. Timer, ON or OFF. If you need any further help on this matter we would be delighted to help, simply contact us on 0117 923 5375 and ask to speak to one of our Senior Technical Advisors. Kindest regards, Heatstore.
Hi I need help, im stuck and don't understand how to operate the heater. I want the heat to be hot but don't feel it. does the heat only comes from the bottom? What about the top?
@@bisio2216 You can press the ADV arrow, at the left, then increase the temperature figure (up to about 25c). This then immediately starts heating at that level until it reaches the next "Timer" setting.

Hi Mona Liya, this would be done on installation. There are 2 supplies to your heater, one for continual supply and one for your off peak, where your cheap electricity is delivered. So it should already be taking E7 charge. @@heatstore290 So it will charge the bricks automaticly ? I been told by installer that comfort time is the time when it will use economy 7 to charge bricks. And im wonder why heater is cold at 10:00am when the previous one could store heat for a couple days. Even when we turn it off. And this one is cold in few hours after economy 7 end. Co the comfort time should be setup in times like 9am to 20pm to keep room warm ? And economy 7 will charge the bricks anywa?
@@heatstore290 I've just bought and I'm having same issue. This morning the heater was cold. I had set up the timer to come on during economy 7 hours but the bricks were cold and only the top of heater was slightly warm. I'm wondering do I not have to set the timer at all just for overnight charge?? I'm very confused!!

@@chrisnorman9419 Hi Chris, thank you for your comment. The timer is to set when you want the heater to delivery heat in to your room, not when you want it to charge, as it does that automatically. Therefore if you have set the timer to E7 hours for example, your heater will come on from midnight to 7AM in the morning only. Please set the timer to the times you would like to heat your room, that should resolve the issue for you.
