Hi, I was 15 years old when this album launched and it was very impactful. I'm no musician and always wondered how Johnny Marr pulled off this wall of sound with just four people. I now get it more by seeing your visual of the individual parts played in the multi track. I appreciated seeing the Ukulele played and shown all 7 times. Its like a peek behind the curtain for non-musicians. Well done young lady!

This is great! It's true of Brian Wilson's songs, it's true of Bowie's songs and now you've shown it's also true of The Smiths songs: they hardly ever work well when covered by men, but women's voices bring a whole new dimension to the music. Kudos to you.

This song is depressing, and heaven knows I found The Smiths' original unlistenable, but somehow your interpretation of it is a treat anyway. There's something about your novel instrumentation, performance style and powerful voice that transforms the music. When I looked at The Smiths' video, all I saw was, well, what was in the video, which wasn't particularly interesting (as most music videos aren't). But when I watched your video (which I had to go back and watch a second and a third time), suddenly I felt like I was sitting at a well-worn table in a dimly lit boho cafe (since I don't care for alcoholic drinks), nursing away my sorrows over a cup of something steamy, sweet and probably not very healthy. You have a talent for painting with music, and I find it refreshing.
