Heavenly Home: 3 American Folk Songs arr. Shawn Kirchner 

As a Nordic alumna, I was delighted to attend this concert on 2/4/17! I was moved by the thrill of great harmonies, the beauty of stunning quiet moments, the excitement of the "dance" in their syle, and the still present Spirit of God moving through the music and touching hearts and lives. It happened to be my birthday that day, and what a sweet gift it was to be invited to stand between 2 lovely 1st Sopranos and sing O Lord God again. Thank you, Dr. Douma and Nordic Choir! We look forward to your next visit to the Twin Cities!

I watched the concert online last Tuesday and really enjoyed this specific segment. Thanks for posting this.

The epitome of what good choral singing should be, and all too often isn't. Very wonderful to listen to, very distracting to watch. What place or purpose does all of the moving and swaying serve? Just stand there and sing as beautifully as you do. The whole "constantly in motion" thing is un-necessary.
