Yes!!! I love those guys. They were my constant companions growing up. I eagerly awaited their latest album. I grew up with them and still love listening to them today. Miss them so much. So many hits, so many more incredible songs that should have been hits.
From the 1983 album, " Today", this was the first song to feature the vocals of Jimmy Fortune when Lew De Witt left the band. Their signature close harmonies and smooth country sound, add distinct flavour to this tune that had doo-wop beginnings, when The Four Knights recorded it in 1953. If you have not already done, so, you might check out the Oak Ridge boys. They have a similar style to the Statler Brothers, and they also have an amazing bass singer.
