Holy hell! Where have I been!? This band is fantastic! Literally stumbled onto this band here on you tube. This was fantastic to hear and see. How hard hitting they still are. How well constructed the songs are. The on stage energy and positive vibes. Just fantastic. Kudos! Thank you! Keep up the good work! Breath of fresh air in this modern sea of HORRIBLE and atrocious sounds that the kids call "music"... But these guys. Real instruments, talent, and skill from heart, and soul, and a whole hell of a lot of practice is true music!
I was on stage with u guys at the troc when i was 3 for an all ages sunday. You pulled me on stage!!! My mom just got me tickets for ur march show there and im in tears right now because im sooooo hype to see you guys live again❤❤❤❤
Fuckin' Awesome! I need to see the whole show Mark! Philly born and raised. Saw your band several times back in the day. Always wished you guys could've gone farther. Best to you all.
Just found you guys from an internet radio station and NO IDEA how I missed you in the 80s/90s. So glad under-rated bands are getting their 2nd Coming so-to-speak (and well deserved) .. The joy of playing live again is felt!!
+G.G. Guidotti ...yeah, I did see the "Find Another Way" video. It is more of a montage, set to the album track. Was "Skin To Skin" the only official video from the self-titled album? I saw that on the HeavensEdgeVevo account.
whats up mark , sounds phenomenal , i used to play at the galaxy ,vigilante and oktober i played drums , the dead end kids , your daughters, mike lecompt , metalwol and empire . sounds great
Since this is WAY better than what I've heard on the radio for the past twenty years or so, can someone please explain why these guys or at least the genre isn't huge?
I had the privilege of meeting and hanging out with Reggie like 4 years ago he gave my friend a guitar lesson and I couldn’t believe how amazing of a person he was I wish I had more time to sit there and talk to him it’s funny Mark Evans was actually at his house like 15 minutes before I got there but I didn’t get to meet him, my dad showed me this band when I was a little kid and they’ve been one of my favorite bands of all time since, just wish they were more famous and made the millions of dollars that most shitty generic bands got to make lord knows they deserve it
THE GREATEST BAND EVER FROM PHILLY THE ONLY band from Philly area and NJ that had it all, the entire package. I am a HUGE collector if Heavense Edge PLEASE I beg anyone with any demos (I have only the second) any flyers (no not the horrible hockey team) any FLYERS that used to be given out. Any video bootlegs I only have Allentown, I need the March 89 video that surfaced. I can trade I have over 750 KISS audio.video demos Eric Carr audition to trade and other bands. Any t-shirts? I especially need any from the "high hair"era 87-89. If anyone can just scan or send over to me flyers that would be awesome. I am tryin to make my own Heavens Edge clothing. Any Press kit. glossy 8x10's I only have the on with Mark in the middle and they are all standing and I so need the LP of the first album or guitar pics anything. I love this band so much. They are for sure top 10 bands that ever lived on my opinion. OMG I will never forget Mark called me 30 years this past week June 27, 1990 the day after the AMAZING KISS Hot n the Shade tour, he as going to the Allentown show that night....i so wish could have went. Funny my soon to be girlfriends was at that show and we dated for 3 years, met her the next day, OMG what a week. Mark talked to me for like 90min 2 hours, i vowed to him to report anyone seling bootlegs of them but I never found that person, I found the Allentown Marc 10 1990 show but he only traded, did not sell. I am so happy because it had the long beautiful piano intro. Sadly I could not go to this show because I never knew about it, when I found out I was in tears. Then they played the Troc early Spring 2017 but I was recovering from being brutalized and raped at gun point (that was the easy part....I was on vavation and home from the airport and found my Dad dying and he did11 days later on my male musical hero' bday Paul Stanley. AGAIN I missed them and I was distraught and i am distraught now, i just found out about G.G. He passed away the day before my 21yr old fiancé passed away in 1998 (Aug 19....G.G passed 8/18) My condolences to you Mark, the band and G.G's family and all friends. I did get the poster..RARE poster of the album. It is two connecting LP sized connected. I also just found Heavens Edge patches. Now I ust have to figure out what to put them on. love their original logo the most. Again they were the best band to come from the East Coast since KISS.......they still do and always will mean the world to me FUCK Columbia and that cat squeal Mariah....THIS... IN the Glam metal scene ( the H word is a SLUR WORD To this day I still spread their name In fact this past Friday I dedicated to Heavens Edge an KISS on my weekly headbangers ball on Fetlife AGAIN if anyone can help me grow my Heavens Edge collection. Mark I love you, my condolences and my best wishes to you. My emails are: MSFS120@gmail.com r Strutsexy120@gmail.com.....to help me grow my Heavnes Edge collection. I am pretty sure I have ever photo and article ever printed on them PLEASE HELP ME....I am also really sick and these things would really cheer me up and give me a reason to keep living. Thank you...Miss Felony Strutter, Philadelphia PA.
IIt is one of the best bands of heavy metal, the classic metal of the 90's excellent. Someone knows where I can get video footage of them concerts, videos etc. I found that they only have 2 discs?
I always was a fan of these guys great songs, great live shows just puzzles me they didn't make it big; they had everything other bands that surprised me was Icon, bad moon rising and lion guess it's not about talent i mean motley crue nuff said!
The hair didn't play the music...you'd be hard-pressed to find any band with such energy and showmanship that these guys put on every time they we're in concert!!! I remember catching them in the 80s at the Galaxy in Somerset New Jersey mind-blowing talent and they still have it!!!!!! The looks thing is for the naivete at heart the true talent still stands on stage and delivers the goods every show!!!
It appears I'm in the minority here, but bands like this are a huge reason why glam metal was killed off in the early 90s. Record companies and MTV dropped talent altogether from their criteria, apparently thinking the band just had to LOOK right, so we got a shitload of extremely generic glam bands like Heavens Edge, Danger Danger, Junkyard, Trixter, Hericane Alice, etc. The real lost gems are Kik Tracee, Spread Eagle, Shotgun Messiah, Electric Love Hogs, early-to-mid-90s output from Warrant, Crue, Extreme, Kiss, etc.
