First and only flying lap in a customers heavily modified Impreza WRX as popped the boost hose and found a few other niggles, but still knocking on the door of Porsche GT3RS lap times.
Shes a handful, almost old school brutal when comes on boost coupled with "interesting" steering and suspension setup made me work hard and kept me on my toes, good fun though!
This car also runs a Methanol mix fuel which is pretty cool!

A bit of a beast by the sounds of it! Pulling 153mph down Hanger.. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Makes up all the time in the straights though. Corners still need to be taken gingerly.. 😜

Yes it's power is pretty punchy and unlike a GTR not lugging 2 tonne so she pulls well. Currently it's suspension is pretty basic nonadjustable, only really 1 step from OE. But as a base Imprezas are pretty good so with a few tweeks I'm sure it'll be pretty quick and with more than a single flying lap I'll get more from it too

@@Car9821 oh yes I know they can be quite potent if you throw enough at it. 😃. Although of course like any heavily modified car something usually also goes bang in the end sadly ..

It was a good day and lot was learnt, it was a shame that after 6 years of abuse the uppipe decided enough was enough and we weren’t able to turn the boost up and get more out of her, but the running I did get was good and some progress made :-)
