With the compressor smoothening out the slaps & the pops, there's nothing to fear in the land of the funk! I used an ebs multicomp pedal. Thanx for watching! Check out more vids on: / gr00velab & / groove_a_holic
Rem: Your stylistic approach, savage sound, and the very important humble attitude are what make you my all-time favorite bassist. I don't say that lightly. Keep the videos coming, I'll eat 'em up as quick as you can make 'em.
As someone who used to have dreads and unfortunately had to remove them because of my job, I need to tell you that I absolutely LOVE your hair. It's giving me some straight nostalgia for my hair :O
I don't really like social media and things. But RU-vid is great for things like this. I gives the opportunity to hear of so many skilled and talented people you would otherwise never heard of. Humbles to.... 🙄
You inspire me to keep practicing and playing bass you are a boss at slap man love the use of ghost notes in your mix man awsome work im going to subscribe for sure now!!
I can't play funk , but funk is what moves me forward to create my art work. I like this a lot. The comment below this one can jog on ! Funk is in the soul it doesn't matter what colour you are even James Brown said that!
Brother, I am glad that an artist friend of mine posted your video on facebook. Very inspirational. I listen to you while I do art. Amazing riffs bro.Keep it up because the inspiration just flows! Thank you for posting your videos.

I am not all that experienced with slapping but I would love to see like a basic tab just so I could try and figure out one of the parts!! This is super awesome! Lol I listen to this more than I care to admit :P
Nice to see that some one at your level plays the same as me. Mainly with the first three fingers with your thumb over the top of the fretboard (He says as you completely change style near the end) oh well
That's the perfect pedal for making ea & every note you play distinctively heard in its' pristine place cause look out, many more are on the way. It's odd that i just checked out this same pedal in a different demo & wasn't impressed. Just goes to show ya that the player can make or break demos of new products. But this really does compliment the style of playing you're demonstrating here which just shimmers as a result - all at an evenly controlled level to keep in check.
