The Mechanic I’ve seen lots of stock gen 2 coyotes live for awhile up in that 800rwhp range, more impressive for a 302ci doing that then an stock LSX trying to do that
@@prochargedboss3028 stock lt4 can handle 1500 whp, its forged internals. Lsx and coyote stock engines can live in the 700-800whp range with good fuel and tuning, but it's still a gamble. Much better to start with a factory f.i. motor. Im sure the 5.8 trinity is far more reliable than a yote. Why do 5.0 guys hate on lsx guys who actually build the bottom end for longevity?
The Mechanic no hate on LS, obviously easier to start with forced induction engines to make the power, just simply saying that a coyote in a stock form is impressive for the power capability it can make once you throw boost at it, LS based engines usually need at least heads, cam, etc with boost to make them come alive

@@raionshishi8290 1300 crank hp on the GTR with drivetrain loss is 975awhp the stang is 800rwhp. Considering the drag coefficient, weight, pistons, displacement the only thing the Mustang was down on was power but in fact made the better PTWR and still lost despite all these advantages

That white Turbo Mustang needs to put a lil bit more air in those tires. He’s rolling the edges with a wrinkle at 100+ that’s slowing him down. Fine line between hooking and causing friction.
