Heavy Train Running Long Hood Forward Crosses Problem Railroad Crossing & Big Rock Train Working Hard On Hill In Williamsburg, Ohio. Cincinnati Eastern Railroad, Short Line Railroad On The Norfolk Southern Peavine Line. John Deer Tractors Get To Wait For Train In Mount Orab, Ohio. Includes Horn Salute & High Rail Vehicles On The Maintenance Of Way Crews.
Check out the matching locomotive paint schemes on the trains. 3 different locomotives with the same scheme. The first train has loads of railroad ties and loads of rock that came from the far east end of the line. The first train is in downtown Mount Orab, Ohio where we see the train station and the caboose that are on display. The train stopped for the day a couple of miles after it passed me.
Next we see a couple of high rail maintenance of way vehicles passing Bean Road on the east end of Mt Orab. Check out the awesome horns! Was that cool or what?! The train stopped for the night in Mt Orab next to Brooks Malott Road.
Then we see a very heavy train going up the hill in Williamsburg, Ohio. This train is for my new subscribers or anyone who hasn't seen trains on the hill in Williamsburg. Sometimes trains don't make it over the hill in one piece. I have seen Norfolk Southern stall on this hill also. I also have some pictures that show the track being installed at the new Purina in Afton. 4 of these pictures come from a friend of mine who has a channel called Railfan Depot Cincinnati. Matt was inside the Purina compound and got permission to take the pics. Look how much track is being laid! This will be a major customer.
Then we see a turtle that I found and let loose in my pond. The Live Action Pets are here and don't miss the slide show that comes from the video. I also featured my friend Shoestring as he signs his tag on a boxcar in Iowa. He was a great friend and I miss him. We had big plans for this summer. Update: On Thursday, May 30, 2024 I caught this train leaving Mt Orab and I filmed it passing through Batavia. I will post that video soon showing it going up Williamsburg Hill. It will be epic!
