Im 25 years old.. Out of all of the amazing gifts I received from my dad as a kid, introducing me to classic rock and creating an obsession with it at the ripe age of 7 years old is the best thing the man ever did for me!
I remember when this first came out in the mid 70's The movie Heavy Metal was a cool ass movie. "Cartoon". I was a teenager back then. still like this song 2day. 🤘😎👍
Drive it on up and let's cruise a while Leave your troubles far behind You can hedge your bet on a clean Corvette To get you there right on time Now if you're ready to dive into overdrive Baby, the green lights are on It's like you're running your brain on some high octane Every time she reaches fully blown Won't you take that ride on heavy metal? It's the only way that you can travel down that road Satisfied on heavy metal Baby won't you ride, ride it until it explodes Heavy metal My oh my, how this lady can fly Once she starts rollin' beneath you You know you just can't lose, the way she moves You wait for her to finally release you It's not a big surprise to feel your temperature rise You've got a touch of redline fever 'Cause there is just one cure that we know for sure You just become a heavy metal believer Won't you take that ride on heavy metal? It's the only way that you can travel down that road Satisfied on heavy metal Baby won't you ride, ride it until it explodes Heavy metal Heavy metal Heavy metal...
Anybody who says Felder can’t sing needs to listen to this. Sounds pretty damn good to me. And I’m sure if Visions off One Of These Nights didn’t have Frey and Henley’s vocals overpowering Felder’s, it would sound even better than it does.
Glenn Frey and Don Henley never gave this guy the credit he deserves. It's fitting that Felder won his lawsuit against them, but it's sad that we will probably never see Don Felder as an Eagle again.
My brother used to love telling me how he used to do shrooms and trip balls listening to this song back when he was still a punk kid years ago. Lmao. xD
very good man....you captured the dynamics the bass more how it would sound on vinyl the way more how I remembered it when I used to turn it up...youtube will never come close as it sounds on a good system...its as close as i think one can get on youtube..well done...
This would be a good soundtrack for some videos of the 4014 Big Boy steam locomotive. You don't get much heaver metal than the world''s largest steam locomotive
Is this Felder singing? Or is it Henley, cause it sounds a lot like Don Henley. Felder was indeed a great member of the Eagles. Took them towards the rock era of the time
