Heavy Recovery of Freight train - Sweden 

In late night, a northbound freight train entered the station of Ludvika. An Rd2-class locomotive hauled a shunter and 36 wagons. There the shunter along with 10 wagons went off track. The V5-class shunter, weighing 48 tons, was in transport and unmanned. The shunter snatched the coupling to the Rd2-class locomotive, which came to a standstill 200 meters further along the track, and now remains where it came to halt. The Rd2-class locomotive was intact and no human was injured. Company BEKAB from Ludvika has been assigned to perform the heavy recovery operation. This video shows selected parts of the recovery.
