Nothing quite like going up one side of a mountain of water, teetering, and sliding down the other side, over and over and over and over again. Great memories, thank you for posting.
Yes. Stop and take a look around your room. Look at all the stuff in it...(including the gadget you're using to read this). A lot of the items in your room are brought to you by these sailors. They're willing to risk their lives for our comfort. Let's appreciate the sailors/seafarers. May God bless them, and give them long life.
Most of the children on here have been raised with a silver spoon in their mouth and a self entitled attitude. These guys go to sea and risk their lives to feed their families and themselves and inturn bring us the goods we want. Without sailors the world would stop.yeah they make reasonable coin but probably not as good as many assume. Especially in countries like Russia. I know carpenters who are at home every night who make similar money. So big respect and admiration goes out to these guy as far as I'm concerned. Thanks guys
‘Ohhh fyuck o meye gyoh’ my favourite quote from this vid. Great respect for these guys & the Slavic music in the background totally adds to the drama 🙏
Not too bad - but when your on a 6000 ton cargo ship and going under every third wave well - there's two types of sailor - the one who cant look freezes and prays profusely (even non religious) or the one who's fear is overcome by extreme exhilaration and is in awe of the sea's power - luckily I was the latter - one wave broke so hard our gangway winch motor was snapped off its mounts and disappeared. Its fantastic to watch great videos like this bringing back memories!
Such an amazing video, you are so brave Mr Deepsea. My heart goes out to you and your family. Thank you for providing goods to the world. My new favourite channel. My hero 🌎❤️
Thinking of doing trucking which made me nervous sue to the dangers then I saw this on my feed and now I don’t feel to bad. I’ll start watching for of these videos as they seems to relax me😂
@@enginedepartment744 idi jopy ot rakushek ochist…
Ok here is the deal. If that ship takes a fatal blow from a rogue wave and snaps in two there would be no survivors in these seas. If you are a thousand miles from land and your ship goes down, you will not survive. The Edmond Fitzgerald a loaded ore carrier caught in a September storm on Lake Superior a number of years back was on radar and one minute later it broke in two or three pieces and was at the bottom where it lies to this day. There were no survivors. Its deck hatches failed and the ship filled with water and instantly sank. There is not enough money to tempt me onto a ship knowingly heading into a massive storm. The bottom of the sea is covered with rusting hulks and unfortunately the bones of their brave but ill fated crews. Rest In Peace.
@@Gubastek something tells me rhe water got through the tarps in those conditions. There's a few nightmare walls of water yall caught here...great work capturing the height of the waves....it's difficult to do even on my small sailboat and very difficult on ships to show just how big waves are there in person, they always seem to appear 1/3 the size on film as in person....I have been in some seas that had steep sided waves in rhe Gulf of Mexicos always 70°-90°F waters and probably not as big as these...I was on a 100' supply boat turned Dive Support Vessel after Rita/Katrina oilfield disaster (probably more $$$ than New Orleans in damages in the long run...there is an unbelievable infrastructure of pipelines, platforms, wells, subsea structures and even some of the deepest work in the world via semi-submersible that all had to be rushed rebuilt by Construction crews Ccross the gulf for like 5 years and was a boom for all marine construction in the Gulf) Anyway the waves looked huge from the 100' supply vessel I was on but were probably lying 12-20ft..a few reminiscent of the mountains of water you've captured here.
this comment goes out to SuperOmarcO just wanted to hit you up cuz I was digging on your bike bro looks like a nice ride and number two at eight or nine seconds into the video there must be a shipping Lane because up ahead you can see the stack of another freighter right ahead of it so I'm not too familiar with that but I would think that even if they were having troubles that maybe they could come to each other's age but have a nice day brother peace out I was digging on your motorbike
+John Tuttobene and are my eyes deceiving me I told you that I had seen a boat to stack about either 8 to 10 seconds in the opening video now I'm watching the radar and for some strange reason I could be wrong but it looks like a fucking fishing boat who in the right fucking mind would be out there fucking fish way would you catch me in a fucking even though I'm sure is everybody's watch Deadliest Catch but man no why would you catch me fishing in some type of little fucking fishing boat and them conditions I'm sorry you know I'm sure we are going to make a living and put food on the table but that's just a little fucking over the edge for me guys
Hey deepsea, is it possible to contact you regarding this video (i.e. via email)? We would be interested to discuss a license to use this video if this is generally possible to discuss? :) Cheers, Felix
