I do live here and I’m happy with more pedestrian friendly infrastructure. There’s not a whole lot a city can do to prepare for a once or twice a century extreme weather event like this. Since you don’t live here, how about keep your Karen Trump opinions to yourself.

But I hate Portland's government because it laid me off three times by cutting youth program's funding not for good reason, only because they didn't want to pay enough. Portland government is not that thoroughly run if it was more thoroughly run then they would not have as many homeless. And last time I remember there was a winter storm a couple years ago that cut this many people's power then too. Doesn't seem like you have been in Portland long.

@@josiesouth275 actually decriminalization of drugs lowers crime per sociological studies and proof of what happened in Portugal. That's not what made Portland worse. Portland's government hasn't been audited for over 10 years before it started to be recently. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some greedy government officials using tax money to line their pockets instead of using it on important social programs. That's why and other small cities all around the country give their homeless bus tickets to Portland Oregon. Portland gets more federal money that way because the more homeless a city has the more federal money they get.

We're pretty full-up anyway tbh. :P
