Love these videos, though I’d note at 3minutes, the HAYAH is in the perfect and so it should be translated in a tense of being (such as is or was), unless it were followed by a Lamed Preposition, whereas it would be a state of becoming (or becoming something new). This is important especially in Genesis 1:2 because it debunks the erroneous gap theory that many try to impose into the text (plus the Vav Disjunctive-the Vav on a Noun instead of a Verb to start a sentence-that indicates this is giving additional information to the preceding section and is not sequential).

The NWT shows us what God wanted to show Moses as recorded in Exodus 3:14. "I will become what I choose to become " This was God telling Moses what God intended to become to save the Israelites. Namely, their deliverer. Then in verse 15 God stresses his name Jehovah. "This is my name forever."

Wow, I liked that. What an eye-opening experience this learning thecaleph bet is. It's like a panel on the dashboard of the MH35 superplane. Love the male/female root meaning. "It's deep," tops majong, and best get new glasses and some ginkgo biloba, must be an intelligent genepool. I'm so glad to be an adopted hier. But 😮 I seriously need to get into these classes. If hebrew is spoken at home, then ....😅 I'm really in awe. Adopted in the Kings house. Shalom

Shalom, I love your channel and it worth much to me. I have a question in doubt and ask for your teaching as below: God tell his name in Exodus 3:14 as “אֶהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיֶה”, but in Hebrew version of Revelation 1:8, Yeshua says as “הָיה הוֶח יִהְיֶה “. As the two Hebrew sentences are nearly the same meaning, but in different Hebrew words. What and why are the differences.

Thanks for your comment. You could say they are similar in meaning. The phrase הָיה הוֶח יִהְיֶה means "He was, He is, He shall be". This is more of Mishnaic/ Rabbinic Hebrew slightly different from Biblical Hebrew (BH). In BH, we don't have 3 tenses, past present and future, but only perfect and imperfect. Coming to the NT, the Salkinson Ginsburg translation reads Rev 1:8 as follows. So instead of the word יִהְיֶה the word וָבָא (and come) is used. Franz Delitzsch's version reads exactly the same thing except that the word וְיָבוֹא (Ve'Yavo, Who is to come) is used. Both match the Greek New Testament. Also the phrase יְהוָֹה אֱלֹהִים (YHVH Elohim) matches the term "LORD God" (ESV, NIV etc, not KJV), so it's a reference to the Father, not Jesus. Also older Greek texts do not have "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last" in verse 11 as the KJV does.

It should be translated as "came to be" or "became". It is not a static verb as we have in English.

It would be good to see the new testament in proper Hebrew. For example would Jesus have said "anochi ha Aleph v ha Tav or ehyeh ha Aleph v ha Tav? Or "Before Abraham was - Anochi" or "before Abraham was- Ehyeh"? I guess the same to the 7 I AM statements in john...? Linguistically Anochi works but Ehyeh fulfills the meaning and purpose of what YHWH said to Moses in exodus and the revelation of Jesus to John. The one who was , is and to come..

May 22, 2024 7:37 JST. From the Bible, 1 Samuel 27:5-12 5 David said to Achish, "If you have granted my request, give me a place in one of the country towns so that I may live there. Why should your servant live with you in the king's city?" 6 So Achish gave Ziklag to David that day. Therefore Ziklag belongs to the kings of Judah to this day. 7 The number of days that David lived in the land of the Philistines was one year and four months. 8 David and his men went up and attacked the Geshurites, Gezerites, and Amalekites, who lived in the area from ancient times toward Shur, which reached the land of Egypt. 9 Whenever David struck one of these regions, he would return to Achish, leaving neither man nor woman alive, but taking with him sheep, oxen, donkeys, camels, and clothing. 10 When Achish asked him, "Where have you struck today?" David would answer, "The Negev of Judah, the Negev of the Jerahmeelites, or the Negev of the Kenites." 11 David left neither man nor woman alive, and did not bring any to Gath, lest they should tell them off, saying, "This is what David did." This was how David did it all the time he lived in the country of the Philistines. 12 Achish trusted David and thought, "For David has willingly done something that is detestable to his people, Israel. He will be my servant forever." David at Ziklag Prayer to Achish David made the following request to Achish, king of Gath: "If you will grant my request, give me a place in one of the country towns, that I may live there. For how can your servant live with you in the king's city?" (1) David showed humility, saying that it would be too daunting for someone like him to live in Gath, the king's city. (2) However, David's true intention was to live at a reasonable distance from Gath to escape the watchful eyes of the Philistines. (3) David also feared that his men would become one with the Philistines. David still considered himself an Israelite. (4) So Achish gave David the city of Ziklag. This town was located about 30 kilometers south of Gath, at a moderate distance from the city. This town was originally the territory of the tribe of Simeon (Joshua 19:5), but at that time it was occupied by the Philistines. David's Plunder Using Ziklag as his base, David and his men went on a plundering journey. (1) He defeated the Geshurites, Gezerites, Amalekites, and others. This plundering should have been completed in the time of Joshua and the judges. Ironically, it was David, who had fallen into unbelief, who was now carrying it out. (2) However, when David reported to Achish, he hid this fact and reported it as if he had attacked the Israelites and their towns. This was to avoid Achish's suspicion. (3) To avoid his lie being discovered, he killed all the inhabitants of the towns he had plundered. (4) Achish believed David and assumed that he would serve him for a long time. In the end, David stayed in the Philistine land for one year and four months. During that time, David's life was by no means a blessed one. He became a man of the shadows, both spiritually and morally. Have you left the Promised Land? If so, return to God immediately. Today's Prayer Heavenly Father, please help me to remain in the Promised Land. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. This is my monologue for today. [What is religion?] This is the theme for today. Looking at the many religions around the world, and observing them across time and space, we see that religions teach the customs handed down from ancestors to their descendants as teachings, while using this worldview and values to form a nation, unify it, and have legal rules, ceremonies, festivals, and holidays, and function well as a mechanism to continue to confirm ethnic consciousness. In other words, they use the events that occurred in their ancestors' lives as a foundation for norms, teach them as lessons to their children in stories, instill worldviews and values, and make them customs and habits of the system. In other words, religion is a convenient tool for rulers and leaders of each era to control the people. It is an invisible system. Religion is nothing but a system. It forms invisible chains of rules and a cage of enclosure. The codependency of souls is a living being, forming a relationship with the soul of a nation, with the king as the head of his people, and the people as the body of the king. This relationship of souls, formed in the form of a human being, seems to exist in each religious view, in each value system and world view. Based on this, I would like to define the soul in terms of the soul, defining the spirit as emotions and feelings, and the soul as self-consciousness, and discuss it. Furthermore, conscience was written into the spirit when God created humans. If that conscience were written down, it would be exactly the same as the moral law of the Ten Commandments of Moses. Today's message from Dr. Nakagawa described the evil deeds committed by King David. He lacked trust in God, and out of his unbelief, he thought, judged, and acted according to the thoughts of his soul. His values were such that it was okay to kill everyone except the Jews. If we compare this to the rule of the Ten Commandments of Moses, it has been proven in history that the same thing has justified the double standard in modern times. This became an excuse for the cult ideology that claimed that. This seems to be a kind of oral law. It was an incident that was used as an excuse to separate the people's worldview and values from the Bible. I don't know the Talmud. But if I infer from the way the Jews behave, I feel like I can see this. This value can also be seen in the values of Chinese Communism. It is unlimited warfare. This is the same as the values of Islamic jihad. They are all double standards. And unfortunately, Christians are the same. They are two-faced. This is a double standard in the family and in parent-child relationships. A father educates his son and daughter and teaches them moral standards such as "Don't lie!" and "Don't steal," but the adults go out and make money by lying, perjuring, stealing, and killing. And he strictly restricts his children, telling them not to do evil. This is the religious view. If the soul is in this state, it will never be possible to have a relationship with the Lord, the Holy God. It is impossible to continue to exist with God. So, what can we do to prevent the souls of human beings from falling into the lake of fire and the darkness of maggots along with demons and evil spirits, other than relying on God's mercy? I have said this many times, but even a child can understand that a sacrifice is needed to appease God's anger. It is divine punishment. An outlet for anger is needed. Will human religions eliminate the outlet for God's anger? Divine punishment is accompanied by a punishment that matches the magnitude of the sin. It is natural to understand that the amount of damages is proportional to the magnitude of the sin. Who on earth will pay this? If we think about it based on this understanding, God is not a religion. Religion is the world view and values of humans. It is different from God's world view and values. In this way, atheists and religious zealots who deny God have realized this for themselves. God and humans are on a parallel line forever. Humans are gods. Humans have been one with the devil since Adam. Adam believed the words of the devil, made decisions, and acted accordingly. He is an enemy of the one true and living God. He disagreed with God, and rebelled against him with his selfish and self-centered claims. The price of sin is death. Death is truly separation from God. One perishes with the devil, the god of death. The sin is already clear. The sin was refusing to accept Yeshua, who was sent by God, as Ha-Mashiah. Because He completed all the laws. Sin, law, death, and curses were all completed. "Behold, old things have passed away, and all things have become new." The new creation continues to exist in Yeshua. Because the worldview and values of the Lord God continue to exist in Yeshua. A person's soul is one with what he believes. Religion is contradictory. But God is not contradictory. He is the one Amen. The Bible is correct. The Bible is not a religion. Because there is no contradiction in the Bible. Amen. That's all for my ramblings today.
