Mormonism fails once you read the Bible. There is only one God, he will never share his glory with another (Is. 42:8) and concerning Yeshua/Jesus and the gospel, “But even if we - or, for that matter, an angel from heaven! - were to announce to you some so-called “Good News” contrary to the Good News we did announce to you, let him be under a curse forever!” (Gal 1:8) Everything that God has revealed to us in his word is all we need. There is absolutely no need whatsoever for the LDS movement. I don’t want my own planet or to be a god of my own universe, I only want to serve the one true God of whom there was none other before and no other to be after (Is. 43:10).

John 3:36 - "The one who exercises faith in the Son has everlasting life; the one who disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him." 2 Thessalonians 1:7, 8 - "But you who suffer tribulation will be given relief along with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels in a flaming fire, as he brings vengeance on those who do not know God and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus." Galatians 3:29 - Moreover, if you belong to Christ, you are really Abraham’s offspring, heirs with reference to a promise.
Moroni wrote in Ether 12: 25-26 : I fear that the Gentiles shall mock at our words. And when I had said this, the Lord spake unto me,saying : Fools mock, but they shall mourn; and and my grace is sufficient for the meek, that they shall take no advantage of your weekness. Now, did the Father and the Son both appear to Joseph Smith ? Did John the Baptist appear and confer the Aaronic priesthood ? And did Peter, James and John appear and confer the Holy Melchizedec priesthood on Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery in the spring of 1829 ? Is not the Book of Mormon the word of God ? If your answer to any of these questions is no, please document it to us.The way Christ informs us that He restored His true Church again on the earth is through the third member of the Godhead; the Holy Ghost: Jn. 14: 26 and Moroni 10 3-5. That way you will not have any need for debating it with anyone, but you will KNOW it for yourself. Is not that graceful of Him ?
This episode finally covered some key points I've been waiting to hear, really covering the chronology, the thought process and the underlying theology that effectively has been hidden of Joseph Smith. I do not believe that even the current leaders of the LDS church would understand these core concepts.
Good question. No, Lynell isn't/wasn't Mormon. More likely they're part of a neighborhood or social circle that has been targeted by LDS bagpipes. For some reason LDS tends to coordinate their efforts: ignoring large swaths of people, but hounding others. It doesn't seem to be coordinated _strategically,_ like by senior leadership in a war room with wall‑sized maps (who knows, _maybe_ they do that too). It seems to _manifest_ in a coordinated way _because they tend to flock together_ ...which has better audience retention rates because, on their own, the ideas they believe fall apart when you _breathe_ too hard at them.
It's a well-documented case study on the formation of a faith and the early transmission of a "holy scripture" from step 1, which gives us insight we can't get from older faiths because we lack that depth of information. It's also just interesting.
Your videos on this subject are very disappointing. You know from your own experience what the text states is different than what modern people claim about it.
To prove that something has been lost from the Bible or that something has been added 2 the Bible, you have to have the earliest text to prove that it was there or not there in the first place. If you don't have anything that substantiates the concept of there being additions or subtractions i.e., you don't have the earliest copies in any form in any fragment in any way? But you do have copies thousands of years between each other corroborating each other like the dead sea, scrolls and others, then additions and subtraction theory is nothing but a fabrication , as there's no evidence to support that.... these things that Joseph Smith has brought into the mormon belief are alien to the Bible narrative, and with no previous texts in the Bible to prove Smith correct, then Smith is not corroborating early scripture, he is adding and making stuff up, That was never there in the first place. If it isn't then prove it. Show me the early text before they were corrupted. The Muslims as wel, .It's no good saying the bibles corrupted, if you don't have evidence of what it was like before it was corrupted....the quran was completed destroyed by uthman and we have no idea what was in it before.Then this is all a fabricated history. So what they have today is not what was originally written.
Let's actually read what the text fully says. "4 And THE SERPENT SAID unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and YE SHALL BE AS GODS, KNOWING GOOD AND EVIL." 22 "And THE LORD GOD SAID, Behold, THE MAN IS BECOME AS ONE OF US, TO KNOW GOOD AND EVIL:" If you actually read the scriptures the serpent lied when he said "Ye shall not surely die" for we see death has entered the world and men has die since those days, but he told the truth when he said "ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." Satan mingled truth with error as he usually does. The Lord confirmed the truth that in verse 22 when he said " the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil." Who is "us"? It is the Gods, plural. If you understood Hebrew you would know that Elohiem is plural and should be read plural all the way through. Before you try to fight against the Lord's true church which he restored through the prophet Joseph Smith. Read the scriptures in full to get understanding. It was literal and the scriptures testify of it. Either you believe the scriptures of you just say you believe the scriptures. For we members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe and know the scriptures to be true.
