Best 4 years I could've asked for. From the experiences and music to the phenomenal people and memories, thanks for everything, Hebron! #hebron #hebronband #saxophone #boa #marchingband #hebron2023 #monomyth
As a retired HS band director who marched alto in HS and college and now play the principal chair on alto and soprano in a professional wind ensemble, I say BRAVO!! The ability to maintain such phenomenal technic and tonguing from memory while maneuvering through a precision ballet/drill is absolutely incredible. I salute the musicianship and work ethic you and your fellow bandsmen display! Go Hebron! You are the Gold Standard!🎵
aayan dude you’ve created a forever soprano in marching band legacy from penstriped to odyssey to monomyth your solos have been outstanding and motivating good luck in tmea all state and college ❤
@@Crown_678 Not necessarily a solo until Odyssey, since it was more a septet with the other saxes, which featured Gian through the whole ballad, as the rest of the septet joined the woodwinds/full band.
As a player, marching instructor, and drill writer, I give you and your band a hell of a lot of credit man! First of all, hanging in with power, intonation, and superior accuracy with a soprano on the field?! Get OUTTA here! Fellow long time sax players, come on with me and give this man the LOVE! Phenomenal work! 2nd, I would ask how many sets were in your drill but...I am assuming the answer is "yes." lol. Not even like a lot of subsets I mean full sets :P
I was blessed with the opportunity to march Soprano this year. It was literally the highlight of this year for me. It was a tremendous feeling finishing my solo and finishing the show with it. Thank you guys for being the inspiration I needed to really shine with my soprano skills. ❤
I’m really sad I never got to meet you because you are an incredible soprano player! You’ve been a major part of my journey with enjoying Hebron, and I sincerely thank you for sharing the love of Hebron with everyone. Enjoy your future endeavors, and good luck with the rest of your life! - Love from Forney
I always wanted A soprano sax but my birthday is coming up so I might get one. I'm so excited to learn this song on my current school tenor or my future bari cus im switching to it (NOT CONFIRMED) or my future soprano!
hey man out of curiosity how hard is it to march soprano? I know it is a beast of an instrument when it comes to getting pitch under control however I have been thinking extensively about marching it next year. How hard is it to march?
Yo this is amazing man. I was the band that was watching you guys practice in the indoor facility the day before thursday of prelims at nats and i have to say that you guys sounded absolutely incredible. best of luck to you in your future endeavors in music because you are an absolutely incredible player and i’m just glad i got to listen to your guys so close up. keep it up man
The double tonguing and altissimo runs while marching are insane. This the type of stuff that many college students would struggle to play sitting down… absolutely insane. How long did it take you to learn all your music?
@@aayanpatel5815 All of that in 3 months is insane lol. Could barely get my clarinets and flutes to memorize/learn just our opener, and they didn't even play for half of it, it was mainly visuals for us woodwinds there 🥲
Any tips for marching soprano? I’m gonna march it for my schools marching show and I don’t know how to keep the pitch from going all over the place lol
The beginning is from phantom regiment 2008 and then The cadets 2000 followed by Epcots, reflections of earth show in the balled its mostly the burning bush from price of Egypt and when Moses rips the red see scene
@@Misael6754also if you got Hebron congratulations on making 3rd in grand nationals I wish my hs could attend but unfortunately we made 9th place in area c finals
