thank you dallas hobbs for sending me a link to the headcam. you can find the original video here: • 2021 Hebron high schoo... enjoy! the high g at 6:55 should be an F, i now just realized that 😶
@@davispogor4460 ive got no clue im assuming something that we werent able to see from the footage maybe to do with foot technique or timing of a move or something similar
0:43 Counting Transcription: Ooh! Look! A shiny treasure chest! I opened it up, and look what I found! A silver shiny Baritone! I'm a baritone from Mississippi and my show will never be that good, but I'm gonna use that im my next show lol
I was gonna try and find a way to contact you because I found the original (100 or something views, no wonder it was hard to find, lol), but then I pulled up your channel and saw the transcription. Congrats on that! Thanks Dallas Hobbs for that one.
not a bari player, but I remember that feeling when I had a contra for the first time. Four hour drill block (before we had ANY visual put in there, so no horn snaps) absolutely broke me. Have fun in marching season, everyone :)
Ay, keep with it, it’s the best experience ever especially once you build up the muscles to hold it up better, I promise, marching band changed my life
Bro I wish my high school band had fun music and drill like this. Instead I was stuck with quarter notes and the worst drill imaginable, then I went to dci and it was awesome.
There are dozens of woodwind transcriptions on MuseScore. But there’s no way you could really know what octave they’re written in or what the actual divisis are without getting a real part.
when passages get too fast to tongue using just "da", you can use something called multitonguing: if it's that's with triplets, you can do triplet tonguing "da-da-ga" (or "ta-ta-ka") if it's something else? "da-ga" or "ta-ka" let me know if you wanna know more :)
man how can I learn to play bass clef, I'm a trumpet player just starting out in trying the baritone and my only option is treble clef music or simply writing in fingerings. Any advice?
What I did was over the summer I would mainly read and write bass clef music. Doing that for a couple of months helped me be able to read it easily. For tips, the 2nd line from the top is where F is, use that as a foundation to find the rest of the notes and practice practice practice.
@@justinkoch7362 indeed, I couldn't find a headcam, but I might be able to do some extra work and hear the original part anyways it'll take like a week at least by doing this though, lemme know if you still want it
@@justinkoch7362 dang, well I feel pressured to do it now I'll get musescore started :p I wouldn't expect a transcription too fast because of the method I'm using to get a near 100% accurate transcript :p
Im a euphonium in broken arrow pride and why your fingers so stiff while playing your suppost to grip them like holding the tips of yout fingers like a cheesburger
I March Baritone for DCI, you want your hand in a backwards C shape really defined so that your fingers go straight down, this helps you play faster, as well as keeps you from damaging the valve casing from pushing at an angle. If anything his hands need to be more defined
