Well there is already one carbine called the XCR-L that fits this description but more like an FN FNC than a 805 though. Depends what is your kink in this area.

by swapping lowers bolts and barrels it can shoot 7.62x51 too, freaking awesome, no more ar10s or ar15 type rifles, this does both with one modular upper
I would absolutely love to see HK bring this to the civilian market in the US. Every time I see the German account post photos of it in use I'm just obsessed.
Honestly its my favorite weapon. Its the perfect blend of the H+K design principles and the more rigid edges of the SCAR platform. It looks really sleek and clean yet not too flashy or impractical. Very well manufactured firearm.
433 is one of the most interesting new guns out there for me! A blend of G3 and G36 for easy training transition with all the modern designs, paddle mag release, folding stock, and being a bit lighter than the 416! It's a pity and weird why it didn't win over the 416A8 in the Bundeswher trials... (Not that I dislike the 416. Having shot one it felt good. But 433 just makes more sense unless it costs more than 416)
I think the main reason for the HK416 is that france also adopted it so maybe that could be a bigger advantage logistically and also might end up being cheaper overall. Don't get me wrong the 433 would def be nicer if it stands the test of time but I also think that the 416 is being selected because it's widely in use and has proven itself.
Germany, the Netherlands and france basically agreed to field ar15 pattern rifles for interchangeable mags and Accessoires as well as similar handling and maintenance. It is also expected for other European countries, especially those who are NATO members will follow this trend and adopt similar rifles (Estonia for example contracted an LMT rifle, and Norway uses the 416)
As far as I know the 416 performed slightly better during testing than the 433, but considered as far as I know again there is still some development done to the 433, so it could end up as the better rifle. As others said already I think the biggest reason is that allies are using the 416 as well and in the apparently wish scenario of the responsibles in case of an incident if Germans and French etc. would fight side by side soldiers could use the equipment of allies with next to no adjustment needed. Of course I hope we won't ever have to actually use these rifles the 433 would have been cooler though.
@@joemama.556 its just now entered production and the .300 HK437 was adopted by german police forces, so even if they wanted to make a civi version it wouldn't be out yet, and according to a TFB article, an HK rep commented on the subject saying "I can not see it not happening" so theres some glimpse of officalish hope there
Thanks, first time I have seen inside HK433, it's very simple, very easy to maintain and to learn to operate it, it should be adopted by militaries and sold on commercial market
interesting, it's definitely more of a G36 and 416 mix than i'd have thought, having a paddle mag release is pretty darn great though definitely getting the civilian one, provided that ever comes out
I've been in love with this rifle since it was announced, I've never seen one with a MLOK handguard before now however, but it looks amazing. It's such a shame how rare they are in the US
I just can't get enough of it, but as I see behind you there is a still lot more to come . I like your in depth videos but this short ones are gold. Always pleasure.
@john Carlos Other than pre-1994 rifles, Type 7 FFL's can order a pistol version and then make it into and 'other firearm' if it's not offered by manufacturer specifically as an other. But if not that, no dice...and by that time the cost is so high....
@john Carlos again, price is less of a concern as legal compliance in my state. Do they even offer it as a pistol? They have yet to even offer a civilian version, yes?
Think this is the first time the disassembly as been on the interweebs. Neat offering, hope HK does well with them *cough* US commercial version *cough*
@@teufelshundtactical The scar is a painful thing from a design perspective. It is filled with choices to make mass production cheaper, but those choices took away from the feel and functionality of the rifle. The lesson is that you should optimize your rifle for use rather than for economics of scale in production. For there to a point in making a rifle that is cheap to produce in the millions you first need to make a rifle that millions want to use. FN seems to have forgot that part during the design phase.
COD MW19 and Mobile players know this as a Kilo 141. Literally my second favorite weapon after the SIG MCX, but unlike the latter, we can't be sure that HK will sell the 433 into the civilian market.
Facts I’ve been in love with that gun ever since MW2019. I’ve held back on getting an AR because of this reason 😭 I pray they release a civilian version
Yeppers, I'm like the others....Copied the ACR and SCAR. I've got one of the early models of the Bushmaster ACR and love it. It's a Keeper. Thanks for the vid brother !!
Recoil impulse gotta be more jumpy since it’s polymer. Probably might be so jumpy that it might make one miss the weight of the extra aluminum and buffer tube.
Great video! One of the very few about the 433 and for sure the only one that disassemblies it. BTW; not oly they have merged the best of the G36 and 416 but also the CETME-G3 features like the charging handle style and half of its fixed piston (because the other half looks like AK style to me). Also ¿is it made of polymer or milled or stamped material or a combination of them?(because Larry Vickers showed it on ShotShow 2018 but if i remember correctly they didnt go into detail when showing it)
Thank you so much for the video! I was soooo longing for an update on that rifle. But I HATE that they moved the charging handle more to the rear, it was so great to have it all the way up to the front, just like on the G3. Also, the pistol grip in the thumbnail looks way better than the one in the video.
it'll most likely be for the police market first in the US and then maybe in like 10 years for the civilians and it be a bastardized version for us peasants lol
What a unicorn. I'm curious as to how much it weighs and why it hasn't seen more production/adoption. Obviously seeing on the civilian market can be counted out entirely even though it would make a tremendous amount of money for them.
I'm noticing so many scar similarities in this rifle. The stock, folds to the side, is caputured, and has a similar ugg boot shape although slightly less boxy. And it push down bolt disassembles just like the scar.
Very cool looking, They traded in practically / modularity to get more sci fi looking. It is only ngsw on the outside, where as you will probably have to spend the same amount of money to get the true velocity ngsw and have something trulY innovative, just as unique ,and truly sci fi beyond just skindeep.
They really need to so this they are not doing well in sales in Germany and I think they lost the Germany military contract which was a big blow to their company
@@Kenny-bj2zq They lost the contract for this particular rifle (433) to be the Bundeswehr’s new rifle, but HK still made up for it as Germany selected the HK 416. So HK still won in the end, but assuming they spent the $$ on tooling machinery for the 433 they could recoup that cost if they’d sell civilian versions. That’s if they appreciate money of course lol
@@SKQS88 They lost the contract for the 433, because the rifle wasn't ready for mass production. But the deal isn't signed yet, and the Bundeswehr isn't in a hurry to change their service rifle, since the G36 was a political scandal, it had nothing to do with the performance of the rifle itself. HK announced the 433 is now ready for mass production. So it is possible for the 433 to become the new BW rifle, or the 416, or most probably the G36 remains in service until they see how it works out for the US Army and their new service rifle, the XM5.
Pretty sure the Swedish Military are going to stick with the AK5C for quite some time. Unless there are some talks about replacing it that I’ve missed.
the 433 is easily one of the best, if not THE best looking rifles thatve come out in the past years, at least IMO. IF HK ever decides to release a civilian version, ill be buying one on day one
How is the trigger? I would think it would be lighter than a G36 trigger since it looks like they utilized an MP7 style drop safety to meet the drop requirements instead of making the trigger insanely heavy.
Needs an MLOK lower rail, AR ambi magazine release (above and forward of the bolt release), and, QD sling swivel at the rear of the upper receiver. Outside of that I think my Agency would be interested.
@@teufelshundtactical never knew that ! Also never was a fan of the G36 carry handle/scope and the FN Scar stock purely from an aesthetic perspective but the HK433 is a thing of beauty in every regard ! The HK433 better not end up on forgotten weapons or I'm going to be depressed.
I’m holding my money on this rifle, because it has what I am looking for in a rifle a foldable stick, ambi, charging handle with a bolt release, and my favorite the short stroke piston, paddle mag release and button mag release. And the look of it is just sexy
Video is fairly timely as well since HK have confirmed on their social media outlets that the 433's series production is commencing and EnforceTac/IWA this week will be it's formal launch.
Thanks so much, it seems to have all of the my favorite features from the 416 and G36 in a really handy package. Think we'll ever get any in the US? I'd pay stupid money for one
