@@B31NG Wrong, if you read the novel you should know that Obi Wan knows he won't survived against Vader because at that point Vader was too strong. He knows he can only stall for time so that Luke and the others can save Leia. So either way Kenobi will died by Vader's hands.
Achilles armor was made by Hephaestus himself. But in this duel Hector was the one wearing it, since he looted it from Patroclus's corpse. Achilles had to stab him in the neck to kill him.
50 Cent didn't take 9 to the chest, he would be dead, 50 cent took a shot to the arm, hand, hip, legs, lower cheek and was shot ONCE in the chest. Still a miracle but lets not act like he took every shot directly to his torso, nobody can survive 9 to the chest.
Achilles is a spiteful wretch and a hypocrite, avenging his fool cousin because the boy was starving for glory and instead choked on his own blood At least he had the decency to give Hector's body and Briseis back to King Priam
Woah there bud, the KINO troy is a master piece, I can hardly think of many other films that match it's scope and scale. It also had some pretty kick ass special features on the dvd
Yeah this looks legit lol Kreia did say that the old mastets were far greater in skill and i can see it now. Anakin wouldnt stand a chance and pretty sure trolli one wouldnt fair much better.
bronze greek blades typically were very heavy and didnt stay very sharp, they were more often used as a crushing or a blunt weapon then something with a fine edge. This meant you were more likely to break someones arm then cut their hand off. Because of this it is a pretty accurate depiction. You'd have to be swinging the hell out that sword if you wanted it to do anything, and and quick movements that could be made while you were open really wouldn't have had enough strength behind them to cause damage through a leather tunic
