Josh Marlow Hmmm...well one of us came to this video of his own free will, and seems to think it requires virginity to know what the name of a character on a TV show isn't. So, yeah. There's your virgin. Either that, or he's one of those creepy Turkish guys that lurk on the internet, asking girls that question over and over, 'cus they have an obsession with virgins. Probably cus they need a tight fit just to touch the sides
I don't think you'd be able to hear anything but the lightsabers just a constant drone of WHZZZZZOWNMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMWWWWWHHHHZZZZZZZ or however you write out the lightsaber sounds
Arthur: "I should have known the north was trying to take over." Ned: "Arthur king Aerys is evil!" Arthur: "From my point of view the north is evil." Ned: "Well then you are lost!"
***** Saying "I love the internet" doesn't mean I didnt already say thank you in another comment, nor do I have to say "thank you" when leaving a comment. Are you going to reply to every person on this RU-vid video who didnt say "thank you Eric"? I said exactly what I meant to say, which is "I love the internet". My comment didnt infer or imply that Eric is literally the Internet. It was an observation that didnt need to be corrected, numbnut.
Arthur Dayne: I should have known the Baratheons were plotting to take over. Eddard Stark: Ser, the Mad King is evil! Arthur Dayne: From my point of view Robert Baratheon is evil. Eddard Stark: Then you are lost!
I think Lucas was trying to show how OP Darth Sidious was by being able to take out 3 Jedi light saber combat masters in 3 seconds flat.... But it would have been cooler had we got to see all 4 v 1 battle like this one
I was gonna say, but i might just throw it here, i love how ned even picks up the red saber, just as the music hits that climax, a reflection of the dark side and neds honour being crushed. and the music just drives it home. haha well played!
Bradley Fortner I was going to say the same thing, if done properly, alot of sword fighting scenes from various movies, redone with light sabers... Is the coolest thing on Earth.
The actor who played ser Arthur Dayne really does look like he could wreck anyone in a duel. He handles those two swords like they're an extension of his body. Great casting.
@@windowsVD it makes it all the more baffling that the night king didn’t actually do anything when that man can use a sword like that, shoulda had him have a sick duel with jon at the very least
@@tykuhnert3668 People even say Jon was supposed to kill Night King..While when you look at the actual actor who played him would roll 20 of them on one in single combat if he ever got the chance 💀💀💀
Howland: You did well Eddard. He was too dangerous to be kept alive Ned: I shouldn't have done that. It's not the Stark way. Howland: It was only natural. He took your sister away, you wanted to take her back.
Sir Butterlegs you're telling me. I went through half a dozen songs before trying this one, and the way everything lined up gave me chills the first time I tried it. I didn't need to edit anything save for slowing down the final shot
Because it was meaningless to jon, he never wanted to be king but it was still a big surprise. And the shock of either bran saying it or jon having sex with dany (his aunt) brings one reaction or the other. Incest is quiet common in GOT 🤔
@@asdasd-be5ww Are you implying that the fights in VII weren't choreographed? EP1 was honestly a good middleground between the originals and prequel fights. And the end of EP3 fight honestly makes sense considering they are like the two most powerful jedi at the time.
Is the music choreographed by you guys? It's in the Star Wars style, but it definitely does not feel like some random music tacked on to this video. Every crescendo, every change in pace seems to match the action and acting in the scene. Great job!
No, I just seriously lucked out! this is battle of hero's from the episode iii soundtrack, unaltered (unless the person who originally uploaded it to RU-vid altered it)
+katphisH It's been long deleted, but I saw someone edit the Obi-wan vs Annikan fight to use the Advent Children version of one winged angel (with minimum editing of the fight if there was any, been a number of years) and that worked quite well. So yeah, its quite possible that a lot of swordfights are generic enough (I for one blame errol flynn for being a major influence of western swordfighting tropes) that you can easily switch their themes around.
Have to admit that even though Ned is not the best swordsman, the fact that he was able to singlehandedly kill a member of the King's Guard, and able to hold his own, even if briefly, against Arthur Dayne - literally the best swordsman who ever lived - speaks to his abilities. Like, if Dayne is #1, I'd say Ned has to be at least in the Top 10.
Top 10 we've heard about. Maybe top 20 literally; I think Bron would know enough about fighting to recognize he was outmatched and keep from getting cornered in a fighting retreat for instance.. and Dayne vs. The Mountain or Dayne vs. The Viper would have been legend-waitforit-ary. ::Unexpected HIMYM::
I also think more like Top 20. Maybe Top 10 in the present day considering the herd has been thinned, but Rebellion Era Top 10 is reserved for folks like Selmy, Prime Robert, Jaime, etc. Ned was a big fish swimming in a pond of leviathans.
@@darthrevan4748 That being said, he also went toe to toe with Jamie Fookin Lannister (one of the best of his day) and held his own - to the point where even Jamie's own men thought he would win. Top 10 for sure.
Ned Stark: In the name of 7 Kingdoms, you're under arrest. Arthur Dayne: Are you threatening me young Stark? Ned Stark: The realm will decide your fate Arthur Dayne: I AM THE REALM! Ned Stark: Not yet Arthur Dayne: It's treason then... (Unbearable screeching and spinning)
This is a little too accurate. I’d like to see the red wedding done with the musicians using blasters instead of crossbows and Walder Fray as Sidius. Oh and John Bolton can say the Sith sends there regards.
I EAT ASS *conversation about Jon’s mother occurring* Ned: No! I’m NOT your father! Jon: Noo! it is not true! It is impossible! NoooOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo... (Falls off The Wall)
Stannis: Yes I said, move into those woods, and engage those Horseback at point-blank range! Soldiers: At that close range we won't last long against those horseback! Stannis: We'll last longer than we will in that open field! And we might just take a few of them with us!
Yeah that's how technology works, I mean now someone can literally make Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, by their self in a basement within a few months.
Comical I imagine there would be some practicallity there. But a new form would have to be developed since all existing ones require both hands. It would be cool for Jedi sentinels to have them and would make sense if they did.
+Our Lord and Saviour Nicolas Cage I really don't understand if you actually mean something with that or if it's just a funny reference xD But by the way, "light shotos" are longer than the "light dagger" in this video...
Ned: "Arthur, my allegiance is to the realm!! To MONARCHY!" Ser Arthur: "If you're not with me, you're my enemy!" Ned: "Only a Loyalist deals in absolutes. I will do what I must..."
Ironically, Tywin Lannister was a lot more pragmatic and flexible than Ned Stark was. Despite being a "villain," there was quite a lot that I liked about him.
I always wondered if Dayne was taking it easy on Stark due to knowing his sister was up in the Tower? Like he was hoping to tire him out and force a surrender. I see zero reason Dayne doesn't end that fight as soon as he wants to.
He could of also had just been playing it safe. Edd was a very skilled fighter, and I am sure sir Dayne was tired after fighting all of those Stark men.
Y'all just need to stop underrating Ned lol. Dayne was def not taking it easy, Ned was simply very skilled and determined. Just like with Jaime, TV show Ned also held his own and Jaime looked like he was struggling a bit.
@@Tindog42656 Was he though? Like he had some skill bc he didnt immediately die when fighting the Sword of the Morning, but I feel like the show insinuates (or even states difectly I dont remember) that Ned is like somewhere in the league of like Ser Jaime. When in the books I seem to remember he wasnt really praised for being a particularly skilled swordsman DEFINITELY not on par with the likes of Arthur Dayne, Gerold Hightower and Barristan the Bold or even Jaime I think. Sure he did still win at the ToJ but the Kingsguard were outnumbered. Not saying Ned is a shit fighter, dont think hed be alive if he was, again he was foghting some of the best knights there are but STILL idk. Also isnt it said expressedly that Howland Reed wasnt a good fighter? ... Idk maybe we arent supposed to think abt it that much OR Ned was actually this good 🤷
@@francescapatti2934 in the book it was understood that Ned was a great swordsman though - and in the show while he does hold his own against Jaime, it felt like Jaime was playing with him a bit and clearly was better. Jaime was at his prime then and I don't think anyone but perhaps Barristan could have beat him.
Someone should make a cartoon called Stark Wars: The Throne Wars and it's GoT with lightsabers and stupid names like Ned Starkwalker, I would pay to watch that.
I love the significance of this battle. It was the battle for Jon Snows future. Would he be raised by the Starks, or would he be a Targaryen? This fight decided that.
Well considering Robert won the war, Jon would either have been killed as a Targaryan baby, or he would have been sent to exile along with Dany and Viserys.
@@Crichjo32 OR maybe Arthur Dayne sends him to Starfall to be raised secretly as a Dayne, but with the intention of revealing his heritage when he matures.
this is by far the best "fake" lightsaber fight I've ever seen. the way he adds the music and sound effects are perfect. if the cg was just a lil better om thr lightsaber effect it wouod be movie quality
@paper-towel-king13 yeah, but with Disney involved... Lets not forget that Benioff was behind xmen: Origin Wolverine and the crappy Deadpool... If he is misleaded he can be an asshole, and after the feminist propaganda that was the Last starwars... Idk, that why i said it should be a series (much easier to correct if something goes wrong) and based on kotor 1 from bioware, back when they wrote good games
@paper-towel-king13 yeah those two didn't make GoT what it was. It was George supervising that made the show fantastic and its clear because as soon as he left on bad blood and the two writers had no more source material to ride its coat tails with the quality Dipped every season with a significant shit season 7
I know right?? How did they even do this. I mean i thought the lghtsabers were good and they wouldve just added the music without changing it but both are done very well
They didn't fucking edit it. God you people are thick. Battle of the Heroes just happened to work pretty much perfectly with this scene. There are literally no cuts in the piece. Stop blathering about shit you know nothing of.
@@monkeykingthe3rd471 That's funny, considering you're the person saying something showing how ignorant you are. They didn't edit the music to the video. They dropped it in as a whole and it worked nicely. The fact that you can't admit you're wrong tells me a lot about you.
@@incendiaryagenda3569 okay relax buddy your basically telling me you don't have a life and you spend your time arguing with people on RU-vid comment sections so you look really pathetic so just quit while your ahead
@@ryanmcphail1103 And the Hodor thing did absolutely nothing for the plot other than randomly introducing time travel (which never becomes important again) and killing off an unimportant side character
I mean Jons entire PARANTAGE, the question mfs have been asking since BOOK ONE not even SEASON 1 no BOOK ONE went fucking nowhere. This and Jaimes random character assassinations are the things im MOST mad abt. Like 1)no way in HELL would Rhaegar OR Lyanna name him Aegon thats so disrespectful to Elia and AEGON 2)The fact it literally doesnt matter AT ALL Jon didnt kill the NK or stop the long night😂 3)Nobody cares? Nobody is conspiring to make him King (Im sure SOMEBODY would want that since they would probably not like Dany AT ALL bc she is a woman and also basically a foreigner) Varys didnt really conspire either 4)I dont need Jon to be the sole hero or the King or anything like that, but the fact HE doesnt even care AT ALL. Dany is RIGHT THERE and he never once even asks if she knows anything abt Rhaegar or hell ANYONE else like Queen Rhaella or sth! (Im aware Dany doesnt know much but Jon doesnt know that he might think Vissy told her abt Rhaella or his mf siblings Aegon and Rhaenys) Im not saying I want to Jon to be a Targaryen and not care abt his Stark family bc no matter what they ARE his siblings and ned was his father, but he doesnt care AT ALL. Overall so stupid 😂
@@guccifer764 8 month has passed but I'll still reply If Hodor didn't become Hodor, Bran would have died with no one to carry him through the journey to the three eyed raven. The Hodor moment was very important
Given the recent book, Fire and Blood, and George R. R. Martin's own qoute to "take Ned's fever dream with a grain of salt, because he's having a fever dream". How knows, that might happen in the next set of books.
