If any one gets burgled or suffers a similar incident, instead of phoning them and waiting a week for them to come round. Just wait outside the station with a camera, they will come in their droves to help.
This is golden. Amazing how much help you can get just by raising your phone. Remember guys, if you get robbed, get your phones out and the police will come within seconds. But then again, it might only work if you are close the police station.
I wonder about the reaction to pointing a mobile phone at a cop shop without the camera function on. They can accuse you of recording them when in fact you're looking at them. Wonder how they would get out of that one........ Public order offence? Misleading police? Failing to ID? Or something else? You cant be a security risk if you stand looking at cops with mobile phone in hand. Even better take the battery out and have at least one person recording you looking at the cops. That would show the paranoia towards a person holding a mobile phone. And they will assume you're recording till you open your phone casing in front of them.
It's amazing how badly trained and unprofessional most of the Police are, as soon as you say no to them and don't do what you are told to do they become so petty and childish. It's actually pretty embarrassing.
I knew this would be like this. Welsh police are the worst ones in the county. Especially when the camera is off they can get very very vindictive. Just look at all the miscarriages of justice from Wales it's extremely high. Darnell brothers. Cardiff 5. Clydach murders.
Its more an American thing, but when they ask for ID ,you should have a card or some such made up that says' It's right here', like when they just incline their shoulder to you, when they're asked for theirs.
As a student of architecture, I find the building quite interesting, it references Norman Castles, with the tower! The Mi6 building is very cool too! My point is, why build these interesting structures, then get upset when someone films them? It's f'in mental!

It`s amazing how when there are criminals to deal with there is a major manpower shortage but stand outside a police station with a camera and there appears to be plenty of the buggers with nothing better to do than scurry out with stupid questions.
Please, please, please AB. Next time you're approached by such an exquisite man as the first male PC. Please say the reason you're filming is for a documentary on obesity in the police force. That should do it !

I still don't understand why or how the hell they can respond this quickly to someone who is doing a LEGAL AND LAWFUL activity. But when someone breaks the law, they are short staffed, no one to respond, are already dealing with something else (I think there should be a real INDEPENDENT investigation into policing and the duties they are meant to be doing) they don't uphold common law, they dwindle into civil investigations and civil law for that matter. They are literally bored and getting paid £39k per year for this shit service. Paid to harass us and disregard, disrespect our rights.
if anyone ever needs assistance from a police officer, all you have to do is get a camera. then go anywhere near a police station and officers will appear like magic - all begging to know how they can help you :-)
I have some dirt on a met copper (fraud) I keep the evidence in my car in case I get pulled in into an ANPR shakedown. When I first took the evidence to the police station they said they had no officers there to take my report of a crime, after two weeks going to 6 stations still no cops available ! So I now wait for them to find me !

you know, i find it quite interesting how many police have the view that they you, the people, are peasants and they think it's okay to talk down to people from their lofty positions. This chubby little policeman is full of that attitude. AB sees him as a public servant but he sees himself as an authority figure. He is utterly incapable of having a conversation because of his ego, wearing a badge seems to give him that right. She is much more flexible but is trying to support Mr Angry.

There used to be very strict requirements such as over a certain height, no facial hair, short back and sides etc. Now they either short and seven stone wringing wet, or short and shaped like a potato, have beards, pink hair, nose rings, visible tats the lot 😱
The detectives often seem not the brightest, with very closed minds that are full of unconscious bias. The police in this area are a law to themselves.
A moment of comedy gold - a few years ago this would have been in a sketch show on a Saturday night with Millions watching. Though I can't remember the last time I watched something on Live TV on a Saturday night, especially when you have this to entertain and provoke our thoughts on the type of society we are turning into.
