Hi, I’m old enough to have done hairstyles like this when I first started working as a hairdresser. Ok the women I was styling where elderly in the 1970’s and by that time their hairstyle was way out of fashion (there was no vintage scene then) but yeah every week they would come in for there shampoo & sets.

It's kinda weird listening you speaking polish. I'm fluent in slovak and czech so i kinda undertand you. Like I get every second/third/fourth word but not enough to understand everything you're talking about. So I switch to subtitles. But my brain is still trying to understand somewhat understandable language while I'm forcing myself to read the subtitles which concludes me not paying attention to neither of the languages. I ended up watching your video not understanding a thing anyway.

Thanks to you I actually started learning polish again. I go to a Saturday polish school but tbh we don't really do much there, unless looking up some dank polish memes counts. So I started studying on my own again. My polish school teacher noticed my improvement so he signed me up for a "polish grammar competition" lol Not that I'm gonna win (my spelling suckz) but hey we're getting there.

I don't know a stitch of Polish but! I'm 3rd generation American & my family originally emigrated from Poland to America. Mezerowski/Mezerowska/Mezerjewska/Mezerjewski was our name.. It had male/female versions & was changed when they came over I believe. I enjoyed following along with the subtitles!

I know this question is not so relevant for this video maybe but I have been interested in ww1 style clothing and the years just before and after this period for a while and haven’t been able to figure out where to look for inspiration. I am interested in lay-mans clothing, working people etc. do you have any websites or books that you could refer to? I sadly do not have thrift stores that sell vintage since I live on the small island of Bornholm in Denmark. But I am good with a sewing machine. Right know I am sewing a vintage sheer silk shirt from a vintage pattern, just not from the right period but yeah. I hope you can help? Thanks for your videos! Btw: Woah, so that is how your name is pronounced... here in Brazil "carolina" is a not-so-much-but-still-kinda-common name - I have family members named as so. But I was like, sure, it can't be pronounced the same way. But nope, it seems it is. Other than that, that was an great video - like all

the only word I could understand was fryzure because it is almost the same word in German. But I got to say, Polish is a very nice sounding language, tnhough I imagine it would be rather difficult to learn as a foreigner. I am tempted to try regardless.

i love when you make polish videos (although i get why you dont do it very often) because your voice is so familiar (parasocial to moi) once i get used to reading them, i forget im reading and it just feels like i can speak polish lol.

The only sad thing about it being in not-my-native-language is that I can't watch it while eating or drawing or anything cause I can't look away for any brief amount of time... so I'll come back and watch this when I have time to just sit and enjoy
