This is exactly hat I was searching for, Kata from multiple angles and perspectives all at once. And Seamus, you really know your students inside and out😄 Right now, I'm trying to slow things down a bit (I even tried watching at .5x speed!)
Great kata Heian Nidan, front knife hand strike pops up a second time in Heian Sandan. Like everything in Shotokan Karate in particular by practicing and maintaining each kata especially for your next grading and beyond is a great way to make firm progress. We can't stress this enough but whenever you're finding it difficult to keep track of each kata step by step to learn simply by breaking it down into segments that is easier for you to learn and perfect at your own pace. These segments when broken down come in really handy when learning in order to compile even for the more challenging of Kata's and even right upto the 3 Kata's at a time especially whenever you're going for your 1st Dan black and beyond! Yami!
Oss Nice straight and razor sharp Walk the walk ..this is art It's in a way of in visioning light speed blocks and counter attacks while also even with multiple opponents...
Love your videos, especially the 'Learning Heian Shodan' one when you break it down really helped me and my son master the kata, will you be doing the same for the others. If so please do Heian Nidan soon, it's our next kata
Oh wow. I had already looked for it and wondered why you had no video of Heian Nidan. Now I found it and can continue with my training. But it would be great if you could break the kata into sections and explain and show it slow and step by step. Thank you, Sensei.
Purple belt going to blue. Thank you for this . I knew the beginning part, but got injured. Now with you presenting this, I can practice it and just get finetuned by my teachers. You are a lifesaver.
I feel like I have done this kata already, and I have mostly done tkd so far 😂. You can clearly see that old kukkiwon poomse palgwe 4 was using this as an inspiration
Didn't learn this till I was a blue belt. I had to move so I forgot everything so I have to relearn all my forms since I started training again by myself.
Me to bro i got to start all over again but luckily the sensei found out that i was on green before like a long time a go so i got one day to learn 1 and 2 kata so that i can straight up go to yellow
@@miyu_myu21 that's awesome man. At my current dojo (which is Hawaiian Kenpo), given my experience I was given the option to move up another rank after white but I just didn't take it.
My shihaan told us that with every move, due to the gi/uniform, there should be a sound generated. woww, I see in this video that sound is generated. idk how to do it but hopefully soon I will master thiss
Personally I think this is easier to learn than heian shodan. I have fully remembered the order of all the moves and nearly perfected some of them. I am an orange belt.
Oss, Sensei. Don't you have empi kata video? Please make the empi kata video for us... And all your videos are really helpful for us. Thank you so much, Sensei...
Gracias sensei yo estudio clases de karate y quiero dar mi examen y lo que más me sorprende de usted esque está seguro de lo que hace y lo qu lleva pociones más fuertes
