Also, what a horrific, yet beautiful, tender moment between you and your wife. THAT is true love, and it may never have happened in the go, go, go, achievement driven life of our culture. Can something so terrible actually be a blessing??
I would love to know your process/reaction when you pray for someone and they are not healed. What sort or things do you say, or not say to them and their families. How long do you stay with them. No, not a "formula" or "protocol", just some stories to illustrate. As for me, my mom died of cancer at 49, my dad has had 2 strokes and basically sleeps 22/7, a man who has given his life to serve the Lord and has had a huge impact. We have prayed for healing and believed for it, but have never seen a healing (other than the "sore shoulder" ones) and yet I continue to believe in healing, pray for healing, and long for the day when I will see it.
Wow. You really put words to a feeling I've had often - when you spoke of that tension of knowing one thing and experiencing another. I was just diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer on March 17, the day we went into a stay-at-home order here in Sacramento, California. I finished chemotherapy for stage 1 in December, but the chemotherapy didn't work and the cancer went straight to my lymph nodes. In the shadow of this pandemic, not being able to visit with friends, hug my parents...this world really feels like a surreal Salvador Dali paiting right now.
Could you please pray for a friend with ongoing neck pain of unknown origin.Has been over a week and massage hasn’t helped. Thank you for this time of sharing.
Hello Vanessa! I believe your friend is now well and whole! I pray that you are established as a vessel of Light and Love in Jesus name! Nothing stops you!
