I like how Heimdalls fighting state depends on how his ego is. He’s obviously a very powerful person and his ego gets shined when he fights Atreus and Atreus can’t land a hit on him. But once he fights Kratos who’s able to counter and actually overpower him, his fighting and mental state quickly deescalates.

A lot of words just to say that one should never underestimate one’s opponent. Heimdall didn’t care that Kratos was known as the undefeated god killer. And if there was one opponent that Kratos would unleash his old self upon it was someone who was a threat to his sons life. Meaning Heimdall. If you’re a god you don’t want to piss off the god killer. Basically all Odin had to do to avoid Ragnarok and his own death was to do nothing. Meaning don’t send Baldur to harass Kratos. But, this video game is about as close to true Norse mythology as Amazons Rings of Power is to what Tolkien wrote. Meaning it isn’t. But, my hats off to the story writers for this game. I don’t play video games, but Gamers Little Playground movie he created from this video game is better than any movie Marvel has come out with lately. I think Hollywoods obsession with DEI has forced the real talent into the video game business because it sure isn’t in the streaming shows and movie business anymore. I don’t think we’ll see masterpieces like Peter Jackson’s LOTR come out of Hollywood again because of DEI. It seems to have gone into the video game industry.

I feel like he shot micah because Sadie was there. Hear me out. You can question John, Dutch, and definitely Micah’s character but Sadie is as honorable as you can get. If John and Sadie die it’s pretty simple on who did it and who was in the wrong. Whereas Micah who had a plethora of reasons for dutch & many others to shoot him. I think after Arthur’s last words to dutch, Dutch trusted nobody. Micah made it seem like they just linked back up. I think Dutch thought Arthur turned on him and when Arthur was dying he found out it was not true. So in Dutch’s mind he still don’t know who the rat was but he knows it wasn’t Sadie. I think that keeps John alive and makes Dutch feel like he chose the lesser evil, despite being skeptical & angry with John.

Kratos is the god of war and understanding the nature of war? That war can be fought on many different levels like war of the heart. Kratos is the one being that can go to war against even a prophecy of his own death. Kratos is war personified. All Odin was doing was trying to figure a way to survive the war. When Kratos came War came to Odin, because they are one and the same thing. War personified stood before the all father and the all father looked upon the face of war personified and he knew war was upon him. Odin tried to evade war with elaborate schemes and tricks, but lost to war of the heart.
