Thx for sharing. I had the same thing happen to me with some beer coming out when I first tapped it. This beer is so smooth and good from this small keg. Well worth it..! Much better than bottles. Only a little foam in first glass.

Iv'e tried the mini keg a couple months ago and thought it was pretty good but expensive. The bottles are pretty close to the mini keg but fall just short. The difference is so small that it does not really effect the score much. People want as much quality beer that they're money will buy, and a case of heineken bottles will provide more beer. it's really up to you. Overall though the mini keg and the case of bottles arr a good value.

You got any spare plastic spouts? I can't seem to find one anywhere.

Its important to rinse de nozzle if not it make a lot of foam.

My cousin and I finished this in one sitting. Nice little keg, but not enough beer to get me and my cousin drunk. Plus where I'm from this only cost $19.14 with tax included.

Will it be ok if I lay it on its side?? my mini fridge is too small. will it affect or leak after I use it?

@GentleSwanny112 No mine wasn't even 2 hors.. Just put it in a big bowl and and put ice around it like you would with a normal size keg... Then put it on the fridge

According to the commercial, you snap the two parts together before they go on the keg so it won't leak.

I was at Wal-Mart earlier and saw the mini kegs for $19.99. Not too bad of a deal! I admit the mini keg does make the beer tastier but it's up to you which one to buy! You problably are better off getting the mini keg. But take my advice. DO NOT let you're buddies drink half of it up! If you show you're friends the mini keg they will go crazy and want to drink it up, for FREE! Drink most of it yourself, and save a little for someone in youre family or a GOOD FRIEND, but not everybody!!!

sometimes mine leaks out the top from underneath the tap, it doesn't spill over but i've lost a bit of beer this way, any thoughts on a fix?

I might buy one as I hope it is made in Holland..all the cans here are made locally and are NOT Heinee.....DOes mean having to rearrange my fridge tho.....

I'll stick to the 500ml cans from now on... they taste better than the bottles and I don't lose 3/4 of my beer....pub draught cans are where it is at if you want a pub like draught pour... several irish and english brands have these and they work great

Dude if you could refill it for 13-15 dollars I would always have one in my refrigerator all the time! I think they should have made them refillable when they started marketing them. They would sell more of them for sure!

You know what else bugs the hell out of me is the fact that you can't refill the mini kegs. I would be a regular mini keg customer if you could simply refill it! They really need to have a way to refill these things! I guarantee more people would buy them if you could simply refill them, a LOT more people!

You can absoloutely not even come close to comparing the taste though, have you ever tried a Heineken stubby and compared it to Heineken on tap from a pub?? need I say anymore.

If you could REFILL the mini kegs for 13-15 dollars then it wold be aa tremendous value! You can't refill the mini kegs however and you're forced to either keep it as a souvenier or throw it away! Just another reason why the bottles and cans are better than that mini keg! Dollar for dollar the mini kegs dont hold there weight!

I've got to dissagree there, I will never by Heineken in bottles again after trying their keg, I couldn't believe it was the same beer. It poured A LOT of foam though, that got annoying.

Yeah I agree... if you like 2" of beer with the rest of the glass all foam.. then buy this... these things are total CRAP.... I have mine super cold, tried several ice cold glasses too as well as full speed pour and controlled pour... the damn thing adds WAY TO MUCH AIR to the beer... so by the time it settles you have flat beer....

Okay this is what I DONT understand! A 5 liter keg of Heineken costs about 20 dollars on average before tax. You can buy a 24 pack of cans or bottles of heineken for 19.99 plus tax also! Except the mini keg only provides about 15 beers TOPS, and that's pushing it! You're much better off buying an old fashioned case of Heinekens for 20 bucks! At least you get an honest amount of beer for the same price! These new mini kegs are NOT the good value people think they are! Trust me Ive had one!
