Decided to share more from Neuhaus because why not! This is pretty wild playing anyhow- I had no idea this recording even existed until I found it online.

Heinrich Neuhas probably performed the greatest feat in piano teaching history when twice he got Richter to return to the conservatory to continue piano🎉😅❤

Absolutely wonderful! Richter praises Neuhaus's fantasy in "The Enigma" documentary and rightly so. It's so magical that wey can listen to it at last! Thank you for uploading it, are the other movements available?

As far as I know they aren’t, unfortunately. The first was the only movement of the Fantasy he played at this particular recital and there are no other recordings of Neuhaus playing it currently known. It’s very interesting to know Richter praised his performance of this piece, I had no idea!

I might be mistaken but in the documentary, Richter praises Neuhaus when he performed Schumann's Kreisleriana. I'm sure he would've praised this rendition of Schumann as well though! Neuhaus starts this piece in such a serene manner compared to most recordings I've heard, I really enjoyed it.

@@jacenarsenault8223 Kreislerina and Fantasy also. He told there "we wiil never listen to such Fantasy and Kreisleriana". But I think probably it was about another performance. On this he played only 1 part.
