I love to study footwork and this guys footwork has a 12 year starter career written all over it with 10 pro bowl appearances, 10 years of playoffs and likely at least 1 Super Bowl appearance. I’d even feel satisfied to draft him no.1 although I personally wouldn’t because I think Caleb Williams will be even better…but jayden should go no.2
He looks incredible, but so does LSU’s offensive line. So many of those passes he had all day to throw. As a NY Giants fan, I was hoping to see some passes under duress but didn’t. He’ll get half that time in the NFL.
If Zach Wilson can go #2 overall, Jayden Daniels can definitely go top-4, guys can't catch him and he can heave it deep, what's not to like? I'm not worried about the injury risk, refs are penalizing every late hit, every low hit, and every hit to the head, plus he's 6-4, if he can learn how to protect himself and slide or run out of bounds he'll be fine.
How can you go wrong taking Daniels, Maye or Williams??? I'm a Patriots fan and im leaning Williams, but i would be just as happy getting Daniels. The Patriots were good for so long that we haven't had a top 5 draft pick in 30 years.
@xboxbam3979 NFL average height and weight for quarterbacks are 6'2 215. Of course there have been over 20 quarterbacks injured this season. Maybe that's not a good average for quarterbacks weight. Not durable.
@@wdtipvr1888 I think weight and height are predominantly irrelevant to injury occurances. For instance, Lawerence just got hurt cause his own 300+ lineman stepped on his ankle with his whole weight. Is there any height or weight level where that wouldn't result in an injury for a QB? Will the NFL push QBs to become 300+ lb linemen levels of bulk in the future? Joe Burrow's injury is his hand. That's irrelevant to height and weight as well.
@@xboxbam3979 1 out of 20 plus. Bro you should be a politician. Sounds like Bidenomics. Let's use a similar body type. Fields is 1 inch shorter and 12 pounds heavier. Look how much Fields has been beat to hell. Bro stop. If Daniels goes to a bad team with a weak OL. That toothpick will get hurt
@@wdtipvr1888 The hell you talking about? Are you blind to how many QBs got injured across this and last season alone? Aaron Rodgers, Joe Burrow, Trevor Lawrence, Lamar Jackson, Kirk Cousins, Deshawn Watson, Anthony Richardson, Kenny Pickett, Kylar Murray, Jimmy Garrapolo, Justin Herbert, Justin Fields, Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, Matt Stafford, Ryan Tannehill, Trey Lance, and Brock Purdy all got injured to various degrees in the past year and a half alone. How many of them are "too small" or "too light" to be NFL QBs? 🤔 Note who's missing from this list? Bryce Young. A "too little" AND "too light" QB who hasn't been injured yet. It's football. It's a violent sport. Injuries can happen to anyone and everyone playing on that field. Superfocusing on a meaningless detail like QB weight only blinds good judgement.
So you think Jayden goes before Maye? I had Caleb to the bears and Maye to the Pats. I have Olu going to Washington but i wouldnt be surprised if theyre the ones who draft Jayden at 4
All these shots are 1 read throws. I need to see him make throws off of his second and third reads. Impressive for college but this won't work in the NFL.
My only real criticism as to why he would be #2 is that a vast majority of his passes are just deep shots ..I don’t see an overwhelming number of tough throws being completed..I’m obviously just some guy but I have him as #2
Just deep shots? He has a 72% completion percentage, he has more explosives from every metric on the route tree. He makes NfL throws over the middle, he’s hitting out routes and slants and digs. He’s truly ELITE. I wanted Nuss at the beginning of the season, but Jayden is the best dual threat quarterback I’ve ever seen, he’ll be like Lamar in the NFL, he makes touch passes deep like all the greats. He has more explosive plays than 90 other TEAMS in college football, let me repeat, he alone has more 20+ yard plays than any other TEAM. His avg ypg is over 415 and his any ypg against top 20 defenses actually goes up! To 440. He threw 40 TDs and ran for 10…. It’s one of the single greatest seasons of any college football player, ever. Who the hell would you have at #1 over him!? Like, for real, if you truly watch college football, who would you have above him and why?
That’s mostly just this highlight tape. He was making throws at basically all areas on the field. When him and his WRs are on the same page they are dangerous in the quick/short and medium passing range
Go rewatch his season. You couldn’t be more wrong😂 Jayden is actually better with check downs and short passes than he is deep bombs. Which is why he’s the best QB in the draft
I love how people say Daniels is gonna do great in the NFL 😂 watch his first 3 years at ASU on a bad team in college. How much he sucked. Then imagine him going to a bad team in the NFL after being picked high in the draft. How the hell do you think what he did with a loaded roster of offensive weapons for ONE YEAR. How will he play with an NFL team with no weapons? Like I said, the better comparison is his ASU days. And against pac 12 defenses 😂 funny how people said the same things about Trey Lance and Justin Fields 😂😂😂😂😂 EVERY YEAR people do this. Then, NFL reality sets in. It's hilarious. Don't believe what I'm saying? Ask Bryce Young 😂😂
