Hecate came to me when I was in a state of absolute hopelessness. I cried to her. And although i never offered anything to her , she helped me . Within 24hours , things worked out for me , she surrounded me with this unexplainable blanket of love , a love I have never felt before. A strong sense of belonging and strength. From that moment on , I will honor her , I will pray to her and I will love her, as she loved me in my loneliest moment . I once was afraid of opening myself to her , but always circle back to her. And that particular night I felt I needed to call to her. She truly is a mother to all , A great , wise, strong , stern yet fiercely loving mother . Praise Hecate

Thanks for sharing. I have been feeling a strong calling towards Hekate, but even more so now that my own mother has passed. At first i was kind of unsure if it was safe to work with her, but I'm starting to feel more and more like it's a positive vibe and not anything negative. I tell people I'm not negative I'm realistic and maybe she's more like that too. I like to think so anyway. We shall see how it goes. In 2014, I started to see her in dreams. I am a male and I know that for the most part she protects women, but I have felt her connection since the moment I found out that my father in law was diagnosed with cancer two months before my wedding in 2012. From then all the way to 2014, I was doing everything I could to try to save him. But by the time I realized that it was too late and that there was nothing we as a family could do, I started to dream about her more. I didn't know it then but she was telling me that she was there to ease his transition into the after life. Finally in November of 2014, he had passed. At that point, I was lost. Wasn't sure where I was going. My marriage was almost falling apart. Constant arguing and I was to a point where I had even lost my faith. For many months forward, going into the following year, I kept hearing her name everywhere and it wasn't like someone would just casually bring her up...it would either be on tv on a show or something I was reading. So I would just blow it off. Then I would be on a walk and I would see a random black dog walking around on the bike path. I dismissed that sign too. Many other signs in reverence to her would start to emerge in my life. They say that when she reaches out to you constantly, she has chosen you to try to help you when you are at a crossroads yourself. Since, I have been learning about her, honouring her and respecting her as if she was my own mother. HECATE was scary for me at first because of all the different stories I read about her but as I got to know who she is as a Goddess, I began to realize that humans are just as scary too. Through getting to know her, I was able to accept my flaws and my own personal dark emotions and began to sort out my life even more. I just wanted to say that your video helped alot. I feel like she has always appeared to me through crows, but after looking into it crows didn’t really pop up in reference to hekate so I felt a bit confused. My first tattoo was a crow with a crown that I felt insanely connected to and felt completely right. And crows always seem to want my attention.
Hecate called to me about a month ago. I was struggling with my path and a key appeared above my door. I felt it was a sign and looked it up. It felt right. I signed up for a class at a witch shop that weekend and I knew on my way home that is what she wanted me to do. Since then everything has completely open up. I went to the cemetery late one night after getting a tattoo of hecate and cried to a tree about some difficulties I had been experiencing, and asked why it kept happening. All of a sudden I heard 2 dogs fighting a little further down the path, and a white figure appeared in the dark near the sounds. For some reason I felt completely safe, listened to the fight a little longer, and walked out the cemetery down the path behind me 👻
im a proud devotee as well and wow! shes freaking awesome honestly.......super easy to communicate with her via incense and drop in thoughts in response to questions. my family honors her by leaving a plate filled with critter friendly food at the crossroads of 3 trails in the forest behind our house at midnight every monday night and she lets us know shes there everytime. once, a doe was waiting at the trail entrance when we arrived and escourted us to the crossroads, stopping every few feet and looking back at us to make sure we were keeping up. this past monday as soon as we arrived at the head of the trail a pack of coyotes started yipping and howling further back in the woods :) when we get back home afterwards i always light a dragonsblood incense cone or two in offering to her and a frankincense incense stick in honor of the fae while i meditate for an hr and connect with her. she goes along with a great deal of work but shes so worth it, she has the most amazing, yet intense energy
I have been lost spiritually for some time. I was at a crossroads of a cemetary the other night, I came across 2 oaks...no headstone adorned them. I felt a wave of energy and saw a blackness swoop across my minds eye. At first it frightened me but then i felt an overwhelming sense of price. Also the Black Dog/Wolf has always been a friend to me. I found an Acorn at a crossroads in said cemetary. I have been seeing the dragon symbol in books, jewelry , in stores, on tv. It’s been non stop. I thought maybe it’s a sign of a spirit animal, to work in Draconic Wicca, or as a symbol to use as a power boost in spell workings and then I saw the thumbnail for this video and it all makes sense to me now. I want to add that some of Hecate’s associations and shape shifting images have also made appearances in my life in recent years as well. I have recently been embarking on a womb shamanism journey, and have had visions of snakes, snakes coming out of my eyes, a snake in my womb, as well as having the jaguar move through me. Last year I adopted a fierce, wise dog, and took a big step in furthering my herbalist studies. On November 16th I was raped by someone who was supposedly there to help me heal from previous trauma. Since then, it feels like I've been in the underworld. While I was at a store she had her name repeat in my mind over and over again, the next day, which was yesterday, I dedicated a place on my alter to her and told her I would like to work with her and answer her call. Hecate came to me while I was mediating one night. It was beautiful. After my meditation I went to get something to eat in the kitchen. I lifted up the paper towel roll and a key fell out. 😳🤯. I've been sick and on medical leave for a full week now. A couple of nights ago when I was feeling my worse, I found that "Hecate bedtime story for grownups" here on RU-vid. I felt so comforted by her and her kindness towards lost souls both living and dead and even related to their portrayal of her a little. Around 1 or 2am yesterday I was in pain again and was trying to listen to the Hecate story but couldn't pay attention. That's when I felt the light of the moon, realizing that the 14th had been a full moon. It was still big and beautiful. The light shone brightly on my face then I heard a voice in my head asking me if I was lost. I though about it and said "yes" because I knew I had been long before I got sick. The light grew dim and I turned over and fell asleep. It's been 2 days now and while I can't do much, I'm looking up a researching Hecate, and I feel like she's still watching over me.

She first appeared to me while talking to a friend who was working with her. I was looking up things about her to learn more about Hecate and noticed a statue of her. I had a thought about it "She's beautiful..." and I felt her peaceful presence and a voice said "Thank you". I think she can tell that I struggle to remember things and has been very patient with me. She has shown me quite a few visions and spoken to me a fair bit over a period of a few years. Through visions she has even shown me Elysium. I have a great deal of love and respect for her.

I actually felt relieved, for the first time in my life I found a female figure I knew who wouldn't lie to me, and set me up to get hurt in any way possible. Hi Paula, I stumbled across your channel (and liked you right away) while I was looking deeper into Hekate, and I am looking into her more closely because I feel so powerfully connected to her. My spiritual path has become incredibly strong lately, and the shift in my life began about two years ago when I wrote an ode to Selene, Diana and Hekate called "A Lunar Goddess Trifecta"- and they've been guiding me closer to Wicca ever since. I was at a crossroads back in June (and the deeper reasons involved some sexual violations), which began my Summer of Spirit. This culminated in my reconnecting with my dad and stepmom, whom I've been estranged from all of my adult life. They invited me to go camping with them in Port Burwell (Lake Erie has been calling to my soul), and I had a witchy good time quite literally on the lake front and then burning my solo bonfires in my small clearing in the woods at night. I feel spiritually cleansed and refreshed, and had so many "no way" moments that tell me Hekate was close. I made the transition on this trip from merely studying the craft to actively practicing. I found an amazing driftwood wand gifted to me by the lake, and in a metaphysical shop I found the most perfect Book of Shadows- so my poem went on the front page. - September 20th is the fall equinox. The full moon fell on the equinox, which also happened to be a Monday (moonday). - I am a Pisces sun cancer moon person, and this full moon was in the constellation of Pisces. - During the day I had offered husked corn to Erie's beach to connect to the spirit of the place, and asked Erie to safely show me her undertow. The next day the undertow was clearly visible all the way to the shoreline. - During the full moon, I cast a circle around the campfire and asked Hekate to teach me and to be my primary Goddess (I also blessed my wand and drank moonlit charged water). - I asked spirit to show me the path I need to follow in the burn patterns of my campfire, and I got a picture of what looks like an outstretched arm pointing at a witch's hat. And what looked to me to be a small WHITE dog (definitely white) approached out of nowhere behind my fire, just for a few seconds. - As an 11/2, I am drawn to the High Priestess card. I feel like it describes my personality, and Hekate's as well. She is the true High Priestess, so I know not to fear her. But last night while I was meditating on her, I saw a shadowy figure with a rounded white face and a hood just blow past me, through my open door and into my house. I smudged my house top to bottom not realizing that apparition was probably her, and now I'm burning a three wicked black sandalwood candle to honor her and I've asked her to banish all of my psychological ick as the moon wanes. As long winded as this message was, I only covered about 1/4 of the numerous strange coincidences and omens I've received lately (I saw migrating monarchs on the beach, for instance). Thank you for your beautiful energy and for sharing your knowledge to help us new practitioners build a practical understanding other than just by reading about it. Thank you for creating this enchanting channel. I plan to petition her to bring justice for Gabby Petito and Echo Lloyd, though I strongly believe Brian Laundrie has already taken his own life. Interesting that the timing of this case would line up with the strong goddess energy emerging in my life.

I know this is a little late on the comments, but I had a very magical experience and dear experience with her last night and I felt pure motherly love, I felt embraced. I felt very safe when I needed it when I was doing a reading with her and the card wasn't so great but I felt this feeling of it's going to be okay. I'm going to show you how to get through this. Not that she was going to carry me through this but walk with me as I went through this. So to anyone who has any fear working with her, she is not one to be dishonored but she is not one to be feared. I tell you it was pure love, acceptance and comfort.
Just got her a new candle today! Lavender and mint, she adores it! She came to me first in a deity meditation; she appeared to me as a faceless woman dressed in purple robes with a triple goddess symbol for a diadem. She’s helped me so much with shadow work.

I believe that Hekate has contacted me as I have received a number of potential signs. One big one has been repeat dreams of snakes. They keep biting me but I am not afraid (which is weird because snakes scare me). As an older woman, I have lately been learning a great deal about the real me. My life had been lived under mental and emotional abuse from childhood through 30 years of marriage, in addition to 50 years in a doomsday cult. A few years ago, my adult children began developing their psychic abilities and witchiness. I found this both wonderful and frightening. My own abilities had been shut down at an early age, but I was still aware. My daughter is always telling me that I’m very powerful, but I don’t see it. So I’m at a bit of a crossroads. Out of the blue one day, it came to me that my special symbol has always been the key. At that point my daughter told me that Hecate has been following me around, wanting to work with me. She explained who Hecate was and as I don’t identify as a witch (childhood programming at work) it confuses me why she would pick me. You video was very helpful in explaining Hecate to me, making it a bit clearer. I’m still nervous as I truly am afraid to offend anyone, let alone a goddess. My greatest wish in relation to psychic abilities is to be able help both the dead and the living. I also live for dogs, mostly shelter dogs, chihuahuas and black ones especially. November 30th is coming up, and thanks to you I’m thinking of ways to spend that day doing something for shelter dogs. Thank you for all the great information.
I gave my offerings at the crossroads and as I walked away, dogs barked and my hair stood up on my arms. My back was to the one direction that was fully commercual/least likely to have any barking dog. It was a wonderful feeling.

It is so true about her letting you know when you offended her I borrowed a necklace from her altar for a spell and did not return it and I got a rash from wearing it LOL. I said message received loud and clear goddess and I immediately put it back on her altar .
I did a ritual while invoking Hecate on Samhain at 3 am in the woods when I was 19. I felt very watched during the ritual. When I was done I packed up everything and started walking down the trail in the woods back home and I saw her apparition. She appeared with dark hair in a fancy bun and very pale skin and a pretty white dress. I was only 19 and of course ran and was terrified. Fast forward to now and I’m 29 and familiar with spirits and deities and have a lot of experience in witchcraft. I worked with her a few months ago for money troubles and after chanting the spell after invoking her, my candle went it on its own and the dog upstairs barked as well as both neighbors dogs barked all at the same time. A few days later my money troubles were solved. She’s a great deity to work with.

She also come as an old man, Poppa Legba (African folklore version) or Mercury bc they travel really fast from realm to realm. But mostly as an old crone or old man, they dip in & out really fast just long enough for you to be aware of their presence.
