Heliborne - Starter Guide 

I've been playing Heliborne non stop for the last 2 months. Been dying for a solid helicopter game for so many years as a console gamer. Considering it was a very small dev team, I think it's a very fun and well done game.

Thanks for the great starter's guide. FYI there are targets in the training flight. On the mini-map at grid location 90-3 there is a large force of tanks, APC, and light vehicles. At grid 80-4 there is a small convoy of 3 or 4 vehicles and at grid 70-5 there is a small FOB. It doesn't reload your missiles but it is a good place to practice landings.

I know this is way late ... Well done tutorial. I just got into flying games with a T Flight Hotas 4, and got Ace Combat 7, Air Missions HIND, and this one on Steam sale today. I'm still in practice mode on all of them. So, thank you for sharing your knowledge and your very well done tutorial. I now have a clue, and you've saved me countless hours learning this on my own. The MI-4 transport’s rocket pods are very good against infantry, boats, and AA emplacements as they can just wreck the infantry as the radius is so huge, the boats are just free kills as they are two shotted, and the AA emplacements need a kind of cat and mouse aspect.

Lol 4 years ago on pc just playing now on console just gound out that gen of heil matters for flares any 3gen round 2nd gen heil can use flares but 2nd gen round some heil classes wont use flares not sure if it is a bug

Hi, I've got a stupid question. I don't understand why my helicopter moves backyard by default. All the controls setting are ok. I can take off, land, move right and left but I can't go forward and be in a stationnary position. Any idea? Help. Thank you.

I hope you see this. Everytime I try and play on the Gen 4 map Bonomo (sp?)...it doesn't work. Either there are no enemies, and the mini map doesn't load...or every helicopter I spawn in falls under the map lol. Am I doing something wrong here? Any solutions? Thanks man.
