Excuse my ignorance but how does the pilot get clearance to fly all over heathrow Airport and do the air version of donuts whilst all that traffic is taxiing and taking off.

Thank you for this priceless aerial footage of my first love and birthplace. I know next to nowt about civil aviation rules and regs but I must say I found it somewhat odd that you were able to hover over Heathrow for so long. Had you had to have obtained permission from the proper authorities?
