I've been and lived in many big cities but London is still my fave. To me, it has some of the most creative and entertaining modern buildings ever. Layers upon layers and new next to ancient. The Gherkin, C'mon.... I want to give it a big hug. Love it. Even the newish and much ridiculed designed by Roger Rabbit Walkie-Talkie, hilarious, daring, and awesome. The Cheesegrater.... who really doesn't love the cheese. London builds new buildings with personalities...... and just like real people opinions can be mixed until you get to know them. The Shard is (or will become) the Eiffel Tower of London, trust me. Come up from the Tube station, find the Shard, and you know where you are. An amazing and awe- inspiring structure. London seems to take some chances that other cities don't. You Londoners have an amazing city....... please love it back!
I`m a Kiwi , never been to Britain . My Dad was born in Poplar 1930. Just replying to your vlog about the Gherkin , well , when I first saw that building , I fell in love with it !! I thought that was and still is the most beautiful multi - storied commercial building in the world ! I could not believe what your locals were saying about it , none of them could see the beauty in it , so sad .
Fascinating! Great to pick out the famous landmarks. O2 is always prominent, then the Shard, Whitehall, London eye, St Paul’s then back over the City and docklands, Olympic Park. Thank you.
I've done many helicopter travels from shoreham to English golf courses, restaurants & once 16 in 4 Robinson 44's went to Amsterdam, amazing times. Sadly my friend who had the licence passed. RIP - DPR ☁️
I like how the city is still green except for the financial and business district. No high rises but old architecture. Though it looks dull under the clouds.
Shame the tour didn't include seeing the GPO Tower.... I remember when it was the ONLY tallest building in Britain when I went up to the top of the tower when it was new...
How long must that marina on the east side of Tower Bridge's north ramp have existed, do you know? Spread out city centres are so much more exciting than our cramped ones here that merely go upward instead.
This reminds me of my home, Los Angeles. We build out, not up, for the most part. NYC gives me claustrophobia. Very beautiful city, London. I would love to see it someday.
Turkish speak 🇹🇷 : öncelikle herkese merhaba Esselamın aleyküm ve rahmetullah 🖐️🧑 Benim ismim Nuh Pınar Türkiyenin aynı zamanda doğduğum şehir olan Erzurumda yaşıyorum. 37 yaşındayım. Müslüman ve Türküm. Londra gerçekten müthiş bir şehir. Özelliklede helikopter turunu izleyince bunu dahada fark ediyorsunuz. Eğer Dünyada bi şehirde yaşamak isteseydim orası hiç şüphesiz Londra olurdu. Binalar ve mimari çok ama çok hoş. İnşaallah bir gün Londraya gelirim.🙂😉🥰🤗💘💘💖❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹🖐️✌️✌️🤙🖕🌆🌆🌆🏠🏡🏪🏪🏦🏦🏙️🏙️🏙️🏙️🏗️🏘️🏯🌉🌉🌉🌉🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🌳🌳🌳🌲🌲🌲🌳🌳🌳🌳🎈🎈🎈🎁🎁🙌🎊🎊🎊🎊🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀 Nuh Pınar, Türkiye 🇹🇷 / Erzurum city. ✔️
Pamela Faye Smith why wasted??? Do you not have volume?? Unless you are in a very expensive helicopter, it's impossible to travel with out good headsets. It really is deafening.
This could have been a very good video if only the eejit in charge of the camera had resisted the urge to flick, zoom, rotate, move, ad infinitum throughout, like a neurotic in charge of the toys.
Helicopter to ATC, “ permission to fly bored red headed lady who doesn’t own a camera around London.............” how could she ? What a waste of a fab experience. She may as well have sat in the back......of the black taxi at the airfield 😎 and NO, all the modern vegetable shaped buildings in London still look crap, even from above....
