Helinox Ground Chair Review - Motorcycle - Camping - Touring.
We wanted to make life more comfortable on the road when camping out on our motorcycle trips. Hunted high and low for the best chair to suit our needs. For us we definitely picked the winner. However , since using it for 6 months we have learnt this chair is 100% not for everyone!

If you put the fabric part on the bottom first, the finger loops make the stretching much easier for the third and fourth poles. I've had two of these for a few years now and very easy to carry on top of my panniers. Like your fireplace too!

Helinox also do the Chair Zero which is more like a conventional chair but still packs down as small as the Ground Chair.

Yeah love that one too . We went for ground chair as I found it so good for cooking on Trangia etc and we could use them inside the tent which has low roof height . That was big plus for us . Cheers for watching and taking time to comment .

Hi Lisa that was useful, I want a wee chair for 'days here and there' this year. Dimensions and weight look perfect for the Heritage Classic, think I will need to book a test run for using it though, cheers.

Thanks for taking time to watch, I love the Heritage model too , had a sit on one in the dealers ! We love the chairs , but definitely not for everyone. They do also do taller chairs as well . Thanks for kind words ❤ Lisa

If you guys are into camping stuff, may I suggest looking at the Grayl products? I personally bought the 'Titanium Ultrapress' but all I've ever used that for is filtering water from the bathroom sink at the Hilton LOL, I think if you two are real campers you'd put something like that to much better use. Its pretty much the only filter/purifier that can also fill other containers, as its not a straw-only system. If the Mr. is into the best of the best or nothing at all, like I am, then I think he'll appreciate this a lot.

OEX Make an ultra light Chair very similar, bit higher off the ground though, easier for the "not so young" to get out of (includes me 😂)

I blame the internet ! Haha we research in Winter by the fire , buy in January sales and use in Spring … We love the fireplace … I grew up with one as a kid , can’t be without one in winter . Yeah I’m a huge Zeppelin fan , I was in California skateboarding when I was late teens 1989 and there I discovered them , weirdly never played on radio in Uk at that time But in California it was on radio and out of folks cars non stop , by the time I got home I had bought every album on cassette … and gone through so many batteries on my Walkman ! That Led Zeppelin 1 is purple label too so very early press .. just sounds incredible. Cheers for watching.. btw Lisa hates Zep !
