2-up Motorcycle Travel. A life time of camping knowledge and bit by bit unraveling the meaning of life! (Which at this point is summing up to be… ‘A Good Life is a lovely way to die’)
Just watched your latest vid after riding my old shovel to Germany and back. 500 like minded riders from 18 countries, awesome. Only issue was shit in the carb after filling up at a remote fuel station. Cleaned it and ran like a good un. Fully understand where your coming from. Hope to meet up some time out on the road.
@@gimlet61cotswoldlad38 Great to hear that , man that must have been a blast , Man the times I cleaned out my cv carb I had real dramas but ended up getting a SS Super E and it was good as gold . Sounds like you had fun . Hope too to meet up Until then happy safe travels dude
Constable country brings back many happy memories for me when life seemed simpler, a beautiful part of the the world and thanks to your excellent video, feel I must go back. I will look for that camp site, looked just right.. Thank you for your telling.
@@CAVANHOLDEN-lh2tm this is good to read , I love it when a video awakens a little memory, especially enough for a visit . Alde Garden is special little place . The pub is great too . Enjoy And thank you 🙏
Wow, came across you guys today, what a find, much better than M$B 🤣 Awesome videos, great editing, each video tells a story, very well done. Moved from the UK to Sydney 20 years ago, your videos make me homesick lol
@@andychallenor4585 Ah we stoked you found it . Kind words indeed .. the antidote for homesick is … More bloody Bogan .. so get back down that Gibb river mate , show goes on !!! Best wishes from up here .. thanks 🙏
Thank you for sharing this story. It's brought back so many memories of the simplicity of just chucking a tent on your bike and following the road. I was blessed to live near the foot of loch Lomond and had so many adventures up north including roadside bodges to keep going. This just brought it all back and I had tears in my eyes watching this. Thank you.
@@iainpirie7904 To live there , you were blessed indeed. Had my share of roadside bodges too and incredible feeling when you suddenly tearing along into the wind again. Amazing what gaffa tape , a cable tie or a pair of mole grips can get you out of . Loved your comment , thank you 🙏 for leaving it here , I find these all so interesting. Best wishes and you’re welcome.
@@GaryFOBrien wait up , I think you’ve made a mistake… I’m guessing this was supposed to be £9.99 not £99.99 … please let me know and I will send back to you .. best wishes Mark
@@GaryFOBrien Mind well & truly blown : That’s just incredibly generous of you & will go straight towards our motorcycle journey in Spain this September. Truly amazing Thank you 🙏
You were never meant to film and document this in the generic go pro fashion. This video made me cry twice you bastard. Truly original and refreshing, thank you for sharing
I have an original 1970's Balstaff trial master. brought it for a fiver from my mate he was a store master at the factory. He made a fortune every week. It is still originally packed until about two years ago and I started to wear it . We also used to get very very cheap Michelin TT100s we had a local Michelin factory. my mate worked for Michelin.
Great review 👍 I have a Street glide special for touring and it's just like you described it apart from the wind in your face 😂 enjoy every minute of it. Thank you
@@leegilbert494 Cheers mate .. sane bike but yeah you got that spot on I get the wind … was hoping it would iron out the creases in my face .. so far it failed ! Be lucky 🍀 mate . Best wishes
What a nice and inspiring journey you guys had! Makes me want to go again but we just returned 😅 Great choice of music, do you have a playlist or such as I like to use some of this music in my travel vids?
@@edoluyt467 hahaha thank you …yeah I know that feeling , I’m back a day and wanna go again . I get the music from Epidemic sounds , so as not to run into copyright issues etc . Afraid I’ve not made a play list . I always meant to add track names , but by time I’m done editing and making thumbnails .. putting the whole thing together I’m normally like , I’m done .
Really enjoyed this little adventure 👍 funny how the simple things can bring us so much pleasure, great vid ✌️ PS, if I drive off on my Indian without the fob when it loses contact with it the horn goes crazy 😅 only caught me out once, your a good egg bro 🙏👍
@@markshawreflections850 thanks mate . Was actually a fun little night , can’t believe how mild it was for Feb . The Indian horn blare sounds like a good idea! First time I’d ever done that . Lesson learnt.
Recently stumbled on your channel, brilliant work. Definitely brings out some emotions. Yes I travel, am a GenX,, ride a motorcycle & have lived a hard but fulfilling life, much more to experience and enjoy. 🇦🇺
@@wiljensadventures4425 Hey , good to hear from you & thanks for taking time to leave a comment. Happy safe travels for your next journey .. best wishes from us both .

What a wonderful description of how motorcycles change your life for the better. we(wife)did all our courting on my bike,250 X7 back then,we met very young and are still together.your words are both poetic and meaningful, Forever Two Wheels bro 👍😎🤘
@@markshawreflections850 Hearing your back story like that no wonder it resonates with you . That’s a great story .. thanks for kind words too . Happy safe travels.
What an amazin trip, i did the same thing last year, albeit in Spain n Portugal, in my Iveco home on wheels, with my ratty 98 Dyna in the back, such an exilerating liberating experience. experience. Nice fuckin bike.
This was beautiful. Thank you. It's helping me put life in perspective and appreciate what i have. Now i need to act and get out of this low that's lasted for years. I need to start living!
@@CJD1984 Thanks for taking time to leave such a powerful and moving comment . Hope you can climb positively out of that low and into a beautiful new chapter. My absolute best wishes Mark
Wish I could've had same experience, I've had a pure barstuard last 20 years since i moved to Scottish borders, Yes there are some genuinely, lovely, natural helpful people out there as Sir Robbie Anderson and most probably a biker or a beautiful wildlife photographer like your mum ❤ What a species Robbie is for a portrait by mum eh. You've made my day, week, and what future Lye's ahead very much appreciated. PS try coming over A68 cutting off for Northumberland coast, through East Lothian area any summer and you will love it. ❤
@@rha4374 I obviously had someone watching over me on that journey. I kept waiting for shit to go sour , I was almost relieved when bike broke as it made me realise it hadn’t all be a dream . Hope your next 20 years turn around & are joyful ones … wish you all my best. Thanks for that tip .. I’ll try to remember that . I’ll definitely be back
@@LeanIntoTheWind I think sometimes someone is always watching over me also , except he's got 666 tattoos on his arse😉 and whenever I'm looking for a "stake" I get a lamb chop instead !! Anyways I'm so happy that you had a wonderful time up here especially the eagle eyeing you up , maybe that's who ,who, was watching over you. Honestly, you have a gift with a proper manner when communicating with others and it's coming across with ease. And another tip , if you can make it to sunny Dunbar in East Lothian pop in to Winterfield Golf club for the best meal in East Lothian with also fantastic sea views all round. Thanks
@@rha4374 when I’m looking for steak I get lamb … killing me brother !!!!! Thank you again for tips … and kind words . Onwards upwards and a boot up the devils ass
