In this video I tell you my 13 Helium mining tips and tricks to help you earn more rewards ( HNT). These tips and tricks came from my experience mining with my 10 bobcat miners.
I have been mining with my bobcats since September of 2021, and It as been awesome. I have met so many cool people through this project it has been so fun. I have installed all my miners and the last 3 are being setup with flagpoles around the davenport and Clermont FL. So far I am really impressed with the ROI of my miners since I have dedicated to optimizing them. I see a lot of complaint from people with crappy helium builds thinking that they were going to get rich, that's not the way it works! Hopefully with this tips and tricks video it can help you earn some more HNT!

Hello From the Land down under. Australia. I really enjoyed tour video so much. Well done mate👍 . I have a request for you. Could you please do a mining speed comparison between bobcat, mntd and other miners and also discuss please both pros and cons of them. It would be a huge help to me and everyone else who is seriously thinking about hopping aboard the helium wave. Once again thank you so much for not making things too techy and keeping it real!!! Thanks for the video, I have a question about transmit scale. I looked at Acidic Walnut Wallaby, which has a 1.00 transmit scale and 34 witnesses earnings over 7$ a day vs. Skinny Saffron Chimpanzee, which is at the top of the OIA air traffic control tower with 66 witnesses earning only $3.24 per day. Is the difference in earnings the transmit scale? Both miners are the only ones in their hex, how do you get to 1.0 transmit scale?

Thanks for the tip... however I have a question, what antenna do you think i should use as i live in the woods. Therefore I have lots of trees and I am the only miner within 20/30 miles?

Hey man, can I make a separate grounding rod for my HNT antenna? I want to put it above my Roof, but also I dont want the house to catch on fire due to the lightning. Any ideas? I already have a grounding rod for my solar panels. Would I screw up existing grounding rods with a new one? Anything heps, thanks!

cam some answer my questions please: 1) If my city do not have any HNT device and I setup one, will I earn? 2) How much internet data it needed to operate? 3) If I need to install more than one devices then how many and at what minimum distance?

One recommendation - if you talk about staking, it’s always good to mention lockup period, other relevant details because 5% is pretty low yield. Lot of ETH2 holders staking in Coinbase can attest to this

I have a choice to be in a saturated area or area with less than 5devices or an area with none at all. The miners in the saturated area ….it’s a lot around me seems to do better than the one with less than 5 nodes around me. Should I just go to the saturated area

Sorry for the late reply. I did have one miner (I believe) get shorted and fried. The light no longer comes on and it goes offline. So make sure to have it grounded I would say! Lighting capital of the USA

Hi, I installed 8dbi rak antenna for bobcat stock antenna and it earns 0.02-0.05 per day. I did status on hotspoty and it shows ping 0/5 and I guess not connecting to blockchain. Pls I need someone’s help How can I avoid this.

You have to do some research on what DBI works for your location! I should probably make an in depth guide for choosing antennas.

Quick Question how far can i move my hotspot without actual moving the miner without getting invalid witnesses

Personally I’ve moved my hotspot 2km on the map before and never got invalids. I believe it’s based off line of site so as long as where you spoofed to but the same line of sight as your actual location

It heavily depends on the location of your witnesses, if the witnesses are the same distance from your new location compared to your old location, yes up to 2km should be fine. Be careful because you may pay the $10 fee and find out it wont work, so be ready for either outcome!

Would it do any good to just restart if I am synced but making nothing with a 5.8- 8 meters and ether cable with LMR400 25 ft. Any input would be amazing. Thank you. 🙂🇨🇦

Most likely not. Are you alone or near any other miners? Sounds like a great setup to me... Are you having any activity at all under the "All activity" section in the helium mining app ?

Yes, there is some activity, I am getting. .002-.005 Hnt every couple of hours , sometimes it goes 5-6 hours with nothing. Shiney Vanilla Cheetah, can you check and see if that is just the way it is and I shouldn't expect much more than this, thanks.

@@pickstreet Seems like people near you are pulling around the same numbers. Do you have a good setup and good antenna? Location, height, and line of sight play the biggest role in determining your rewards! 13 witnesses is not a whole lot, especially when youre in as saturated place as you are.

Haha, so the owner is a pothead that owns a vape shop. Didn't take a whole lot of convincing after I told him I would do all the work, pay for all the materials, AND pay him. Yes I use his internet

Doesn't light miners get rid of relay issue? man you should make a video on what these updates on the network is doing. Im kind of lost on why my rewards are so much lower even though same everything!

You can get a directional antenna with only 180 degrees of coverage
