A full look through all of the settings within perhaps one of the best Joomla 3 and Joomla 4 Template Frameworks - Helix Ultimate 2 from JoomShaper.
I run through all of the settings in the framework, and as a quick freebie at the end, show you how to create a custom footer layout with JoomShaper PageBuilder Pro.

Thx, nice video. Since the GDPR I serve the fonts direct from the server. So no link to Google anymore for privacy reasons. Quite handy to save all your custom css files in one place. I always have to grap them from a previous build or use the inspector each time to tweak it. Keeping it all in one place works faster.

Very similar to the now unsupported Asteroid framework. I hope it improves on the Astroid framework (not supported anymore) mega menu as it does not allow many child menus My site has about 1200 menu items and on some down to the 4th child

Helix Framework is much older than Astroid Framework, much more flexible

@@siamnaulak Totally disagree with you. I uploaded Helix Ultimate and while not eve set as default it changed the default settings Had to go to a backuo to clear the mess Helix is not even close to the unsupported Astroid framework .Mega menu is a useless item. Cannot manage it properly in Helix. Helix Ultimate not recommended Will stick it out with my Astroid site until someone can develop a useful template system

@@steinjonah660 So do I. Btw Astroid is supported again and gets even better. In my opinion the best framework we can get for Joomla.

Hi Chris, Thank you for a VERY informative video. This helped me out a LOT. Maybe you can help me with a minor question: The margin between the "header bar" (Where your LighBulbLogo is) and the text in the main body is quite big. I hope you understand what I mean. So the text in my main body is quite low, leaving quite a space above it towards the bar. I'm unable to get it higher up... Tnx Arjan

Are you using SP PageBuilder too? Possibly a padding or margin setting on the row/content on that page.

@@chriswilcox8977 No, I don't use SP PageBuilder. I have to say: I'm a newbee. I thought of padding/margin, but I haven't changed anything from the default settings...

not able to install helix ultimate. showing : JInstaller: :Install: Can't find Joomla XML setup file. The Joomla package cannot be installed through the Extension Manager. Please use the Joomla! Update component to update Joomla. whereas i am using joomla 4.0.6
