So, random theory here: Ichigo based this off of his battle with Ulquiorra. He breaks Kokuto's chains, rendering him able to leave Hell and be free, giving him hope. Then, he chains Kokuto more then ever before, entombing him beneath Hell for eternity, after crushing that hope- True Despair, if you will. Ulquiorra's calling card.
@@suckithonor No. Kokuto was only able to tank against Vasto Lorde Ichigo’s ceros because of Hell’s chains. It’s a pretty big hole in Kokuto’s plan tbh. Congrats, your chains are broken. Now you have a being capable of nuking all of Hell coming right for you to create a new definition for the word ‘kill’.

@@pheonixx2861 as you mentioned the initial draft was from kubo but the director or the studio I don't remember who changed a great deal about it eventually changing almost all the story, I don't know honestly but I doubt this form is kubo's making but if you can confirm it is then trust me mate I would love this form to get canonized

Ichigo is canonically super good at soccer/football in the Fullbring arc. His human body still has muscle memory of soul reaper powers, so he sells his athletic talents to the highest bidder.
