They also attribute the character of God to the pope...calling him holy father. Only one Holy Father...Almighty God. Only one way to Him...Christ.

Wasn't that one of the first things we were told not to do? To not put man/false idols before Him? Pretty bad starting point for the catholic folk.

@@CarbideShrapnel Catholics go one step further. They change the ten commandments. They took out the commandment against idols, added a second about covetousness. All their 'bibles' have the new commandment, that school that put up the 'ten commandments' in the US has the catholic commandments. They love their statues of Mary and the saints, so much so they changed the Words condemning them.

A great exposè. It is easy to keep off worshipping physical objects or imagined deities but not ideas. It is the trend most of us follow, it being very subtle.

Yes and Amen. The Lord keep us from idolatry which is the sin of witchcraft. Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

42:25 I can't believe God loved Hitler and Stalin until the end, I just can't - it's not consistent with God's love. This is why I believe the Reprobate Doctrine - man, by his consistent rejection of the Gospel, will one day cross a threshold, then he can never be saved.

Your opinion doesn't matter. The word of God and what it says in CONTEXT only matters. The Gospel is for everyone. Apart from Christ, you and I are just as wicked as Hitler and Stalin. You're no better than they.
