Indubitably ! Peter & John were two of the screen's best character actors. And Hall was a big star in adventure movies in the 40s, especially at Universal.

Thanx for uploading for us to enjoy ! Pretty dang good for a low budget late 50s B-picture ! Some very nice underwater footage ! A shame Peter Lorre didn't have a bigger role.

This looks like it was hoping to become a TV series. I'm guessing the studio execs figured it couldn't compete against all the Westerns on every night.

Lorre looked a physical wreck in this Republic cheapo: he was still slim and agile ten years earlier, just as the good acting parts were ending. One wonders how much of his decline was due to his disappointment.
