Hellblade 2 is an extremely demanding game, but the visual fidelity it offers is absolutely jaw-dropping. Despite its demanding nature, the game still runs impressively well at ultra settings on low- to mid-tier RTX GPUs. Even on Xbox Series S and X, the game is capped at 30 frames to provide a cinematic experience. Knowing that some players prefer higher frame rates over cinematic 30 frames, I tested every setting and managed to achieve optimised settings for Hellblade 2 that provide visuals 99% close to ultra-like quality but with significantly better performance and stability. The game requires a minimum of 6GB of VRAM to run on low settings, which poses a significant challenge for the GPUs with only 4GB of VRAM. During my testing on the GTX 1650, I encountered severe VRAM limitations, resulting in drastically reduced framerates and an overall poor gaming experience. For optimal performance, the game demands at least an 8GB VRAM GPU, highlighting the necessity for higher-end hardware to fully enjoy its immersive graphics and smooth gameplay.
