Thanks so much for those of you who chose to watch this playthrough! It’s not the type of game most like to watch on the channel and I appreciate you guys letting me venture out. Full disclosure on this episode- my mic drops out for the last parts. Big L :( The issue was because my mic gate settings somehow reset, meaning a lot of the the dialogue did not get picked up. I did leave the facecam in so you can at least see reactions. Sorry if it’s distracting and if you like no commentary no facecam versions, all my playthroughs will be at www.youtibe.com/@silentsnaxan
This game is truly ahead of its time, but truly a piece of art, i get why people dont like but personally i LOVED it to the end, specially as a Unreal engine developer, for me its a 11/10 game
It's interesting hearing the doctor talk about how the brain works off of predictions and memories, and thinking about the times Senua grew up in, how there was a lot more belief in the supernatural. Those beliefs being a fabric of how they perceived life made Norse/Greek mythologies and whatnot more than just stories to them, and because info wasn't shared as widely as it was/is in more modern times, I feel that with that as a base of reality, a lot more people actually "saw" giants in a storm or heard voices and saw shadows in the dark. Makes me love those passed down stories even more thinking of it that way. Anyway, thanks for sharing your experience of this game with us!
@@SnaxanGaming Yeah, Illtauga was what terrified villagers (sometimes literally) saw as the living embodiment of earthquakes, Saegeirr was what terrified villagers saw as the living embodiment of hurricanes, and Áleifr was what terrified villagers saw as the living embodiment of blizzards. *edit: The Tyrant was the giant the villages believed lived in (or was) the storm, which was the seed Áleifr put in their head for their imagination to run wild with.
I finished the game as well. A couple days ago I think I would start a new game pretty soon because the storytelling and everything about this game was absolutely amazing.
This adventure was so wild and the story and graphics were just beautiful! These type of games are very special. Seeing the behind the scenes is very cool also.. it’s a great experience! 😊
May be the best looking game ever not sure about that ending however; Cliffhanger for the next one I hope and expect. @SnaxanGaming thanks for giving us something new on the channel and it was great.
Thank you for your playthrough and thank you ninja theory❤ it was great experience, maybe next time we will see Senua's adventure in ultrarealistic graphic and i will cry again how much happy i see her
Majority did not like Hellblade 2. It present itself as a game but most of it felt likes a long movie and the gameplay elements were nothing new. Despite that it was very linear and most of it is like a walking simulator with superb graphics, I genuinely felt that it was immersive. How the furies interact, having no HUD and how simple and effective the battle sequences were, it just really stood out. Critically I can't rate it higher than 6/10 as a video game. However, it was totally a new experience for me on how Hellblade 2's direction went. Personally I rate it 9/10. Maganda and artistic.
*The same YTers that said TLOU 2 & Cyberpunk was bad (and then made videos saying they were wrong years later, getting double the clicks) did not like Hellblade 2. If you look on Steam, the recommended/reviews are "very positive".
It is not true that a majority didn't like it. Stop watching click farming youtubers. It has gotten great ratings from most outlets as well as has good scores on the platforms it is on. The people who say it is a walking simulator or that it plays like a movie more than likely didn't play the first game or didn't understand it and had no idea what they were getting. It was always going to be a short movie like experience where the story is paramount, that's what the first game was and the sequel could only be that or else it would have lost what it needed to be. If Hellblade 2 was a 50 hour rpg with gear upgrading I would have refunded.
im confused if there are no giants how come senua killed two?and they already killed people also?the father of i cant writte his name is the giant?or he spread those lies and his men killed those people
Game is cool and all but sadly this is not my kind of game, it feels more like a movie rather than a game TBH and I probably gonna get hate for this but man the main character doesn’t shut up and just kept talking all the time like I mean I get it the character is suppose to have like mental issues or something but for the love of god Shut Up! just for once (sorry if I feel rage quit here lol) this is why I prefer silent main characters or main characters who speaks plainly straightforward or better talks less and rather do things in action in rather than words because let’s face it action speaks louder than words and it’s better that way
